12/10/2006 09:35 | Guys I refer you to my quotes below. Now that French Telecom is a bust deal there are no more eggs in the basket. Protecting the shareholders now being the only way forward mmmmmmmmm With the Raw material levels held within the "Cash Assets" I believe they are probably worth less than stated. I reckon now that everyone may get about 5p for each one when liquidated. Superbigal - 2 Aug'06 - 09:37 - 280 of 390 edit The only Hope is they still break a big deal with French Telecom for the untested product. I will keep my ear to the ground. They have never previously sold into the French market Superbigal - 29 Jul'06 - 09:19 - 274 of 390 edit Guys how long have I been telling you this now. No-one was ever interested in buying this dinasaur and no competitor is threatened by it. Engineering design were and are far too slow in bringing products to market. The internal decisions now mean NO MORE NEW PRODUCT development. As I have previously reported they are relying on an unfinished product and redundant products. Also no-one left to sell these products. You can keep on reducing the cost base but with little sales and a larger Raw Material stock position than you might imagine (Due to buying to falsely high sales forecasts)the cash reserves which are ALL that is prolonging this beast are dwindling. FARADAY the major shareholder represent the family of the original founder. I bet he is turning in his grave !!! The family have also been badly advised and a company that was worth £50million+ to them at one time I believe is now valued at around £1million for their holding. . | superbigal
12/10/2006 08:10 | I hope you took the 9p rather than holding. Or perhaps you can now double down. 9p seems to me about the company worth depends on how quickly they decide to "optimise shareholder value". | brownp

11/10/2006 13:24 | I still hold a few Telspec shares - a lot less than I used to have. The posts I have read here are an indication that something is happening. I will wait until I get something in the post perhaps, when someone wants 100% of the shares. I am open to any offer, although the higher the better. Frank Hackett-Jones RIP, I never met him, he had returned to Australia when I had some contact with the company in the late 1980's. I never quite bought into that picture in the reception of the Rochester site as it was not compatible with what I had heard about Frank Hackett-Jones, but then the employee who informed me was not one of his fans! | gedy |
