15/6/2006 12:21 | BL - thanks, I've been there already & took my share our ;-) Though I always tend to leave an awful lot more for the next man in. There are Oils & oils, and I'm not convinced enough to be buying yet, CDN got away from me but could have much more upside. I've gone to bprg - post FD appointment, expected news and AGM next week... could dip again. But really we should always just stick to our own gut instincts and keep them to ourselves (as we both now recognise!) Take care. GG Re TSP I'm wating for 'the call' to say buying here is sound again - if it ever comes, if not, it's off my watch list in a few more months. | goldengoose
15/6/2006 10:18 | OFF TOPIC GG I see from some of the OIL Threads that your interested in buying into some Oil companies, I personally believe NOP is a very good bet at the current price. But I do hold and will Buy more when I've more cash in a few months if the price is still below £1.35. IMHO as always. | bluelynx

12/6/2006 19:48 | GG I've sold TSP at 8p a little while back, I just can't see a positive out come, the more time that passes by the grimmer it looks. I hope for those still holding that TSP surprises the remaining Share holders with news of a Buy out at 12p+. | bluelynx
12/6/2006 19:11 | Thanks, something of a catch22, here. Like you say it could be months of tied-up capital waiting for something significant to arrive, meanwhile what's left in the pot; leaks away. It's anyone's guess how this will play-out. I'll keep my money elsewhere. Respect. (albeit belatedly) $>) GG | goldengoose
09/6/2006 13:01 | What do you think GG ? I do know that no-one is interested in buying the business and the Lines they are doing for Bulgaria are really all that is keeping them going just now. The South American work can take months if not years to come thro and they are only bidding on it. Since when do companies say that bidding for work is worth notifying the market unless they have sod all else to talk about. | superbigal

17/5/2006 21:19 | Tonight's Stockmarket Report (uk-analyst.com) There was a broadly positive update from networking group Telspec and its shares rose 0.5p to 9.25p. The company said it had secured its order book for the first half year, which was expected to yield sales close to that of the previous year. Meanwhile, the group continued to pursue avenues through which the company could be sold and still regards this as the best outcome for shareholders. | howdlep
17/5/2006 09:46 | this could be in profit next year | made1686
17/5/2006 07:18 | I agree there appears to be an upbeat undercurrent in the statement | chrisdgb
17/5/2006 07:11 | So order book secure for H1, deliveries underway and management still focussed on business sale. With cash burn under control I do not think the sale will be made(1686) on the cheap, so we could rally a little from here. | howdlep
17/5/2006 07:08 | Telspec PLC 17 May 2006 17/05/06 Telspec plc ('The Company') AGM Statement At the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held at 12.00 noon today, Mark Skilbeck, the Chairman, will make the following statement:- 'The Company has secured its order book for the first half year, which is expected to yield sales close to that of the previous half year. With regard to the contracts mentioned in my statement of 28 March 2006, I can report that the pair-gain contract in Southern Europe is fully effective with deliveries underway for completion in the first half year, however the contract with the Latin American telco continues to remain with the customer's financial controller to authorise. This is quite normal for contracts in this region. Since the release of the Company's results, I can report that the Company has submitted two sizeable tenders to Western European telcos for our new products, the TelMax X line extender and the Telterm ADSL modem, and that both the products are presently under evaluation by the prospective customers. The previously announced sale process continues to be on-going. The Board recognises the need not to prolong this for an unnecessary length of time; however, we have not foreshortened this activity since the Board still believes that a sale could represent the best outcome for shareholders. The Board remains focused on the immediate objectives of completing the sale process, securing new orders and reducing costs in the business.' Mark Skilbeck Chairman Ends. | howdlep
12/5/2006 18:16 | t1pes said 30p not 18p and they have not said less i think we could get 40p still i got to keep cash as i would have liked to buy at 6p still got at 10p so do not want to be too greedy | made1686
12/5/2006 13:05 | Cash as per the latest results, slightly more than the current cap. Operating costs cut to a minimum, with a buyer able to take advantage of historical tax losses. All looks good for a bid, even if it will not be at the 18p+ suggested by t*ps. As with a lot of small caps, it only takes a few trades to move this one. The good thing is the share price is underpinned by the cash. So little downside in the short term | howdlep
12/5/2006 11:51 | Made you were right all along i paid 25 p so i guess i will still be short | pentland
12/5/2006 09:14 | First target 11p, then the 200 day moving average at a touch over 14p. Ideally, though, we will get some news on that bid | howdlep
12/5/2006 07:45 | Once again a couple of early buys and the offer is raised. As bid news approaches, is this the next APC to have a run? | howdlep
11/5/2006 10:23 | Good to see a mm buy just go through, together with the offer markup. It will only take a few buys to really get this moving, as we await a bid RNS. Lets hope those presentations are going well. Value to be realised, eventually. | howdlep
