Unfortunately we’ve now got to wait until the 22 May when the placing and OO gets validated at the GM. Nothing much is going to happen in the meantime. I’m hoping they don’t release any positive news on orders or the like until after that as it won’t have much affect on share price until this has all gone through. Then once we hit 22 May the newsflow can commence, the massive orders can roll in and it will be happy days.

I'm still baffled . To be honest & he keeps posting the same posts with zero explanation . I spent plenty of time reading the post for your info and couldny make head nor tail of it and how its relevant I'm a graduate in chemistry and worked in finance in the city .I'm not saying I'm a genius but I didnt jump to any banal conclusions as you say . It made no sense at all to post this and more than once . & If you took the time to read my post instead of jumping to banal conclusions you would have understood that this guru kenche refers to got it completely wrong years back ...probably went over your head ..chump

Indiestu, to say you are overthinking this is understatement of the year.

The type of behaviour that you are referencing doesn't make sense given the placing discount, nevermind the huge size of the placing. If you want an example of a boiler room placing then look at something like RUA Life Sciences - pumped the share price to 60p and then placed at 10p. Nothing of the sort happened here, they even flagged that the tier 1 investor was going to come in.

Schroders have taken £7.3m of the placing, UKIB £28m, that leaves £21m unaccounted for at present. Admission of shares doesn't take place until 24th May, so no TR1's will land until after that date.

Just to repeat once more, a £56m fundraise in the current UK market is spectacular. If PI's want to buy on the open market then there are shares available at 23.4p right now. Once orders start to land I highly doubt there will be anything available under 30p.

Of course they want PI's to buy in the market so the placing shares can be offloaded at a quick profit to the big players who were prepared to take the risk. It was probably a condition of the book build that they only offered PI's such a tiny piece of the cake. It's disgusting.

Taking that a step further now I have completely wound myself up. The open offer to PI's is disgraceful and another example of the little man getting shafted. 3 for 20 doesn't give you the opportunity to avoid dilution. I get there is an excess option but this is not guaranteed. It should have been 1 for 1 they could have raised more. I would imagine the majority of PI's are going to get shares to the value of a sandwich. Ie. Not worth taking up. Ownership forcibly moved to the big players. Yes I know you can buy in the market. That is not my point.

People need to stop looking for conspiracies and plots where there aren’t any. You’ll just drive yourself mad.

Ignore the history. Ignore past share price. Ask yourself whether 23p constitutes good value with good prospects of capital gains. If you think it does then take up your options, if not then don’t. For a bit of nuance you can decide whether you trust the management or not, which can help you decide.

Not that anyone should care or be influenced by it but I do think it’s worth taking up the offer at 23p and I do trust the management (even if they have underperformed in recent times) but I respect others coming to different views and posting reasonable views here.

Indiestu they didn’t give 32 million shares away, or indeed any. Get a grip man.

You seem unable to take a moment to understand posts without making some sort of inaccurate judgement about the poster and/or the meaning. Kemche’s historic quote was making a technical point, at the point of a fundraise.

Maybe it was not worth posting it, but to quote the current price as some sort of proof that the technical point wasn’t valid is completely irrelevant, if not banal.

Calm down, take a breather !

So no other related party transactions? No other current major holder or director. They gave those away to get it over the line.

I think the "placing shares" clarifies it .

That says issue of shares not purchase of shares. Did Schroders pony up for them or was it a sweetener to keep them on side for the voting.

Well from the RNS we know Schroders took 32million of them.

“ The issue of 32,810,630 Placing Shares to Schroders Investment Management, a substantial shareholder of the Company, constitutes a related party transaction under the AIM Rules and the AQSE Rules.”

Holding RNSs aren’t relevant because it hasn’t gone through yet.

You posted that multiple times now ..

The other quote must have been from years ago so I don't understand the relevance ..and from its contents it hasn't turned out so great ..you also posted that twice with no explanation of why you are posting a post from years ago referring to a 175 p placing

Even if he is an idol of yours try to keep it relevant

"sp being forced to chop through some forced selling due to fund redemptions, but those are easing and in no way diminish from the fact that this Company is reaching critical mass of course. Notice how 'payments in advance' that allow IES to purchase components and NOT have to suffer the historic problems of working capital deficits where material orders would cause near-term cash strains. This is a reflection of the Company's improving stature in the marketplace and therefore leverage in negotiations. Great, great news."

More thoughts from a great man.
