UK Rightmove house price index fell in July

In the UK, the Rightmove house price index dropped 0.20% on a MoM basis in July. The index had recorded a rise of 0.30% in the prior month.

Euro-zone industrial production rose more than expected in May

In the Euro-zone, the seasonally adjusted industrial production rose 0.90% on a MoM basis in May, compared to a revised drop of 0.40% in the prior month. Markets were expecting industrial production to advance 0.20%.

Chinese GDP advanced more than expected in 2Q 2019

In China, the gross domestic product (GDP) climbed 1.60% on a QoQ basis in 2Q 2019, higher than market expectations for an advance of 1.50%. In the previous quarter, GDP had recorded a rise of 1.40%.

Chinese industrial production advanced more than expected in June

In China, industrial production registered a rise of 6.30% on a YoY basis in June, higher than market expectations for a rise of 5.20%. In the previous month, industrial production had advanced 5.00%.

Chinese retail sales rose more than expected in June

In China, retail sales advanced 9.80% on a YoY basis in June, more than market expectations for a rise of 8.50%. In the prior month, retail sales had recorded a rise of 8.60%.
