Vaulta’s transformation from EOS is nearing its final phase. On May 14, the official token swap will begin, and $A will be introduced as the new symbol for Vaulta’s native utility token. EOS holders can swap their tokens seamlessly via secure, supported tools available through the Vaulta Swap Portal, hosted on Unicove.

On May 7, a multi-signature proposal was made for the deployment of the Vaulta token contract, marking the official launch of $A as the network’s token. This proposal sets the stage for the swap, with execution scheduled for May 14. The swap will go live immediately after.

Key Dates

May 7 — Proposal for MSIG: Vaulta token contract and $A symbol announced.

May 14 — MSIG execution: Vaulta Swap Portal goes live.

Mid-Late May — Exchanges begin listing $A and removing EOS (timing varies).

May 29 — Vaulta CEO Yves La Rose to present Vaulta at Bitcoin 2025 (11:00–11:20 am).

Vaulta is not a fork or reset. It’s the EOS network, reimagined and rebranded—fully compatible with existing infrastructure and state history.

Swap Safely with the Official Portal

For most users, the safest and easiest way to swap tokens is through the Vaulta Swap Portal, a secure, user-friendly platform designed to minimize risk and eliminate phishing attempts. While advanced users may prefer interacting directly with the core.vaulta on-chain, the Portal is recommended for those seeking a straightforward and secure experience.

If your exchange doesn’t automate the swap, avoid manual transfers and use the Vaulta Swap Portal instead to ensure safety.

Watch Out for Scams!

The Vaulta Swap Portal is the only officially endorsed platform for token swaps. Stay vigilant and steer clear of phishing attempts and scams. There are no airdrops or rewards for swapping your tokens—any claims to the contrary are likely fraudulent.

What’s Changing — And What’s Not

What’s New:

Network Identity: Vaulta

Token Symbol: $A

Token Contract: core.vaulta

What Remains the Same:

Your wallets, accounts, and contracts will still be fully functional.

Tokenomics (supply, allocation, vesting) remain unchanged.

Infrastructure and developer tools continue to be supported.

The EOS mainnet transitions directly into the Vaulta mainnet—there’s no new chain.

Vaulta is an evolution of branding, not a technical migration.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the swap start?

The official swap begins on May 14, 2025.

What’s the new token symbol?

The new symbol for Vaulta’s native token is $A, replacing $EOS.

How do I swap?

If your tokens are held by a centralized exchange, confirm with the exchange whether they will handle the swap for you. To swap manually, use the official Vaulta Swap Portal for the easiest and most secure experience—just connect your wallet and follow the guided process to exchange $EOS for $A.

For advanced users, you can perform a direct on-chain swap by sending $EOS to the core.vaulta account and receiving an equal amount of $A in return.

Can I swap both ways?

Yes—at least for now. For the first four months, users will be able to convert $EOS to $A and back again at a 1:1 ratio through the Vaulta Swap Portal. After that period, swaps will only be available in one direction: from $EOS to $A.

What if I delay swapping?

Your $EOS tokens will still exist on-chain, but most platforms will gradually shift to supporting \$A exclusively. While you won’t lose access to your assets, early swapping ensures continued functionality across key services. The option to swap will still be available after the initial phase, but access to apps and liquidity may be reduced.

Is Vaulta launching a new blockchain?

Not at all. Vaulta is simply a rebrand of the original EOS Network, continuing to run on the Antelope-based mainnet. The blockchain’s history remains untouched, with $A now serving as the official utility and governance token, replacing $EOS.

Will my altcoin holdings be affected?

Not at all. The Vaulta rebrand and token swap will have zero impact on your altcoins. All smart contracts—including token contracts—deployed on the original EOS mainnet remain fully functional on Vaulta since it’s a continuation of the same network. Your balances won’t change, and you don’t need to take any action.

Do developers need to make updates?

For most projects, existing contracts will continue to operate as expected. However, developers are encouraged to update token identifiers to reflect the switch from \$EOS to \$A, ensuring compatibility moving forward.

Are there any security concerns?

As with any transition, phishing and scam attempts may increase. Always verify that you’re using official Vaulta resources. When in doubt, stick to the Vaulta Swap Portal for safe interaction.

Have the new smart contracts been audited?

Yes. The updated contracts have undergone thorough security reviews by both Certik and Sentnl, ensuring a high level of trust and safety.
