The importance of emerging and frontier markets in today’s economic climate is on the rise.  Investment security and room for growth are at the forefronts of investors’ doubtful minds.

Where better place for long-term growth than emerging markets? Or better yet – frontier markets.

Centamin, the Egyptian based Gold mine dropped 3% on Tuesday amid speculation.  Investor confidence is low, subsequent to the Egyptian economy being its famously unstable self.

BNP Paribas suggests Egypt is “in for a hard time” and have a “pessimistic” view towards the north African country.  Furthermore, investors will not forget Egypt, and Centamin will remain on their watch lists over the coming months.

Are the current lows an opportunity to enter the stock?  Is Egypt a safe bet?

The stock currently teases investors with its upward looking chart.  It is not a question of ‘if’, but more a question of ‘when’ the stock will begin its climb and make that break back into the more comfortable 70s.
