Proprietary trading, also known as prop trading, is becoming increasingly popular in the financial markets. Once a niche practice, the global prop trading market, valued at USD 6.7 billion in 200, is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.2% from 2021 to 2028. Business interest is rising, and the search queries for “prop trading” have skyrocketed by 8,409% between January 2020 and March 2024.

Therefore, to accommodate the growing demands for prop trading among traders and the increasing need for specialised software among brokers, B2Broker launched B2Prop, a powerful and sophisticated turnkey solution created to help businesses create and launch their proprietary trading firms from the ground up.

Exploring B2Prop Solution

B2Prop is an advanced challenge-based platform for multiple business types—prop trading platforms, crypto and Forex brokers, and multi-asset brokers—to expand their portfolio with a new product and reach a larger audience. The development process was based on the best practices, with special attention to the brokers’ needs.

B2Prop allows businesses to create personalised trading challenges and set specific metrics like profit targets, risk limits, and performance benchmarks. The challenges can be multi-step and offer support for multiple currencies, allowing investors to trade with various currencies. Additionally, B2Prop does not impose additional fees based on the number of challenges, accounts, or steps involved.

When a trader successful pass the set challenges, they gain access to funded accounts with a competitive profit-sharing model that enables them to keep 70-80% of the trading profits.

B2Prop integrates seamlessly with leading trading platforms like MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and potentially B2Trader and TradeLocker. It also offers advanced dashboards that allow brokers to track trader metrics from registration to receiving funded accounts, ensuring that the solution is effective and suitable for brokers’ needs.

Traders who successfully pass these challenges gain access to funded accounts with attractive profit-sharing models that typically allow them to retain 70-80% of their trading profits.

Numerous Revenue Streams

B2Prop utilises multiple revenue stream opportunities for businesses:

  • Challenges Fees

Brokers can generate revenue from the fees they charge traders participating in prop trading challenges. Traders who fail to meet the challenge criteria often make three or more attempts to buy and re-take the challenge, which can further boost the broker’s income stream.

  • Sharing Profits

Only the best-performing traders who successfully pass all the challenges gain access to funded accounts. The broker provides the capital for these accounts and retains a share of the profits earned from the traders’ activities, which ranges between 20% and 50%.

  • Adjustable Trading Conditions

Companies can adjust the trading conditions, such as commission fees, to their benefit. They can implement higher commissions, which reduce the profits on funded accounts and lower the company payouts that must be paid while still benefiting from the difference.

  • Copying Strategies

B2Prop is integrated with B2Copy, B2Broker’s sophisticated copy trading solution, which creates additional revenue streams for businesses. Funding limits on trader accounts can be adjusted, and the company can copy the strategies of successful traders into its accounts to make extra profits without paying these traders.

The Turnkey Package That Every Prop Trading Firm Needs

B2Prop by B2Broker offers a comprehensive solution for businesses to create a successful proprietary trading firm.

The core of the package is B2Core CRM. This is where traders sign up, purchase trading challenges, track their performance, and issue payments. Additionally, the solution supports growth with integrations for payment providers, KYC soutions, introducing broker platforms, etc.

The package also includes the white-label cTrader platform, customised especially for proprietary trading firms, combining cTrader’s advanced features and usability with a cost-effective business deployment model. B2Prop can be integrated with MT5 and MT4 if the company owns the license.

Moreover, B2Prop’s turnkey solution package includes B2BinPay, B2Broker’s crypto and blockchain platform. B2BinPay processes payments with cryptocurrencies and allows clients to fund their accounts using various crypto and stablecoins across 8 blockchains. Users can fund their accounts to purchase trading challenges, adding more flexibility and attracting more traders.

B2Copy is another vital part of the package. The copy trading platform from B2Broker enables firms to copy strategies of successfully funded traders directly into their accounts, offering extra profits without paying those traders.

The B2Brop solution has three monthly plans that promote transparency.

How to Create Challenges in B2Prop via B2Core

B2Prop is seamlessly integrated with the B2Core platform. Admins can access the Prop Trading page under the Investment Platform menu in the admin panel. This section contains the Challenges List, where admins can create new prop trading challenges and manage current ones.

When creating a new prop trading challenge, admins must insert the challenge name, description and picture to showcase the challenge on the front end.

Then, they must define the challenge parameters like plans, steps, initial account settings, key performance metrics (minimum trading period, maximum loss limits, profit targets), fee amount, fee currency, trading account amount, and trading account currency. Admins can specify the rules for disqualification if a participant breaches the daily loss limit.

When challenges are created, the admin panel allows for tracking participants’ progress. It shows the active and past accounts with their corresponding challenge status (started, failed, or successful). When a challenge is successfully completed, admins can mark these accounts and create funded accounts for these traders.

On the layout, participants can view the list of available challenges with pictures and metrics. Traders can join a suitable challenge with a single click and pay the entry fee from their wallet if needed.

As traders progress in their challenges, they can track key metrics like equity, max drawdown, number of trades, etc. The platform also offers a day-by-day trading overview with P&L reports and volume details.

Participants can receive email notifications upon challenge completion with details about their prop trading account. Moreover, traders can check their previous challenges, as well as comprehensive results and trading data for each account.

What’s Next From B2Broker?

B2Broker keeps pushing the limits with more technologies and innovations that meet and exceed expectations. The introduction of B2Prop is another addition to its lineup of turnkey products, offering a ready-to-use solution for businesses to start a prop trading firm effortlessly and efficiently.
