08/5/2024 12:15 | LIO own a few WG, which has just received a bid. | cambium
07/5/2024 14:27 | Up 16% here now, but feel there is still much more room for capital growth as well as the dividend. | mister md
07/5/2024 12:08 | LIO funds are doing well over the last 6 months: | aishah
07/5/2024 09:55 | The chart is very strong and looks to be heading to 800p. 800p could be a barrier. | rcturner2
07/5/2024 09:52 | Looking hot | albanyvillas
02/5/2024 14:48 | Glad to be back in the blue here ! 👌 | masurenguy
02/5/2024 11:20 | Yes FTSE (finally) having a great run - and LIO should do even better ... | mister md
02/5/2024 11:19 | Chart nice and positive at long last | pyglet
01/5/2024 13:27 | UK stocks might just be back in fashion Some good news for UK investors — (for once) it seems we’re at the front of a trend. According to Bloomberg’s Michael Msika, “rotation is full-on and the UK is leading the way.” Added here. Chart looks good and 10%+ yield | aishah
29/4/2024 17:08 | For hi-div with very bullish charts: LIO, HFEL, BRWM, POLR, RCH, ITV Also JCGI looking perky from very oversold. VOD on the cusp of BO. For no div, very bullish charts: OXB, GMP, JLP For no div but knock out asymmetric opportunity/ albeit hi risk: ONT I should add these are all weighted positions according to risk of about 36 different shares- and I'm still mainly a dividend investor. | brucie5
29/4/2024 15:51 | Which others do you like Brucie? | barnes4
29/4/2024 15:34 | Difficult to fault this chart, especially given the dividend. However in this market we appear spoiled for choice. | brucie5
26/4/2024 09:04 | Thanks. I've built up a small holding over the past two weeks together with MNG, BATS, IMB, PHNX... will see how they play out. | magicmayhem
26/4/2024 08:39 | More outflows from assets under management Slowing outflows but negative nonetheless Other funds have started to see net inflows Lio will rise sharply imo when outflows stop | thebears1
26/4/2024 08:25 | I'm currently moving most of my shares into dividend yielding stocks. Liontrust appears to have a yield of around 11% which beats most of the best out there. Why is the so so low? | magicmayhem
17/4/2024 18:45 | The stocko forecast is for eps of 76p and the dividend to be held at 72p. If that comes to pass I will be putting in my Master of Malt order that the wife is currently blocking. | rcturner2
17/4/2024 17:20 | My working assumption is that the dividend is held BTW, unless we have a serious sell off and/or the board think that profitability is headed lower, which doesn't appear to be the case. | eigthwonder
17/4/2024 17:12 | I would say that counts as a good day on the chart, with immediate target of £8, simply to regain last April's level. | brucie5
17/4/2024 16:41 | Total eps 2019 to 2023 = 264.6p Total dividends 2019 to 2023 = 266p So on average they have paid out all the earnings even though the earnings have been up and down. | this_is_me
17/4/2024 14:13 | I trend to agree. But whatever they decide, it looks promising from here on in. Bought further yesterday on behalf of a 3rd party; in addition to my own holdings, which amount to a full position. So obviously I'm maximum bullish, a counter indicator if ever there was one! But it does look like this may be a situation where you get both capital growth via recovery and (at least relatively) high dividend. NAI, obviously. | brucie5
17/4/2024 13:50 | I don't like it when companies get fixated on paying x amount. I would much rather they say, we will pay 75% of eps as the dividend (or whatever level). Paying an uncovered dividend simply to avoid the pain of cutting it is management cowerdice in my opinion. | rcturner2
17/4/2024 13:32 | Unless they pay out of reserves until dividend is covered again ? | mister md
17/4/2024 13:21 | If you are going to upset people, you might as well get it over and done with and make it a substantial cut and then use the new level to grow it. A small cut this time will hurt sentiment and may mean that they have to hold or cut again next year if financial performance doesn't pick up. | eigthwonder
17/4/2024 12:32 | They will be close to being uncovered if they don't cut it. | rcturner2 |
