Agree if we can push through 340 then a run up to 400.positive outlook from the last statement should hopefully encourage more buyers and hopefully the doom and gloom around uk stocks is starting to ease off.

From the chart perspective we're right at the point where we're going to find out if we're at the top of the see-saw pattern in place since 2022, or at the start of a big uptrend more like 2020-2021

Very close to 52wk high. Once that breaks it'll run hard imo.

I think we all agree EV is not the be-all-and-end-all for Volex's growth. But all the same, the EV infrastructure picture is quite healthy in the UK. It will probably get even healthier under a Labour govt... https://www.theguardian.com/environment/article/2024/may/05/uk-installs-record-number-of-public-electric-vehicle-chargers

An automotive wiring harness can be defined as a set of organized wires, connectors, and terminals which run all over the vehicle for relaying power and information. It plays a very important role in connecting different components of the vehicle. Each wire in the wiring harness system has many different types of wires depending on where they will be installed, heat and cold resistance, and other important considerations. The above is taken from MT webpage. Should have done more research but now I know. They are complex technical assemblies that can be tailored to fit individual vehicles needs. Sounds a very good addition to the VLX portfolio and soon to be expanded into the US.

Dr B is right.
OHV is mainly agriculture and construction vehicles.
MT do more than just that, but OHV is a high growth sector at present.

That's what I initially thought Dr Biotech but "a manufacturer of complex wire harnesses for the off road sector" is how they described MT in the acquisition RNS. Can anyone shed any light onto what this definitely means.

Off road - tractors, diggers, and other vehicles that don't have a primary use on the road. Thats what I took it to mean.

Agreed but feel the rabbit in the hat here is the as yet undisclosed contribution made by the acquisition of Murat Ticaret. I don't even know what off road means in this context but they keep hinting of strong cash flow and plans to expand state side. Sounds a splendid addition to Nat's poker hand. I will be adding on any weakness.

Anglo American under siege for the apparently critical copper supply. We are the company that turns the copper into all the uses causing such excitement. This is a cracking LTH.

EV is only 16% of VLX sales, why do folks continue to talk like VLX is a pure EV play.. 🤷

Tesla slowing rate of charger network, won't help EV sales!
