The Board of The Market Age plc (the "Company") has received a new approach for
the restructuring of the Company. The Board has not yet been able to fully
assess the implications of this approach for shareholders and loan note holders.
The Chairman of the meeting of loan note holders therefore determined not to
put any resolutions to the meeting held on 7 May 2003 and to convene a new
meeting when the new approach has been fully considered.  In the meantime the
Group will continue to trade.





The Board expects to send a circular to loan note holders shortly and
shareholders will be kept informed.
