                            Brammer plc ("Brammer")

                    Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

The board of Brammer is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General
Meeting held today, the resolution to approve the disposal of the Livingston
Calibration Business was passed by Brammer shareholders.


Proxy votes received in favour of the resolution totalled 99.2 per cent. of the
votes cast.  The votes cast represented 59.3 per cent of the total votes
eligible for the meeting.


Completion of the disposal is expected to occur by 31 March 2004.
