                                  Board Change

Inditherm plc, the specialist heating technology company, is pleased to announce
the appointment of Ian Smith as Finance Director, effective 19 January 2004.

Ian, aged 47, joins from Portakabin, the modular buildings company, where he has
been Group Finance Director since 2000. Prior to joining Portakabin he was from
1996 Finance Director of Holset Engineering, a division of Cummins Engine Co
Inc., the Fortune 500 company, which he joined from BTP Plc, where he was
Divisional Finance Director of the Process Chemicals Division.

Ian replaces Keith Lees, who is leaving to pursue other interests.
