ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadstone Real Estate, LLC today announced that Broadstone Net Lease, Inc. has purchased six properties in Oklahoma and Texas through a $7.3 million sale-leaseback transaction with Sonic Corp. and its affiliates. Sonic Corp., headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, operates and franchises a chain of more than 3,500 quick-service drive-in restaurants located throughout the United States. Sonic, America's Drive-In, originally started as a hamburger and root beer stand in 1953 in Shawnee, Okla., called Top Hat Drive-In, and then changed its name to Sonic in 1959. Shares of Sonic are traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol SONC. Broadstone Net Lease, Inc. (BNL) is a private Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) formed in 2007 to invest in freestanding, single-tenant, net-leased properties located throughout the United States. BNL is externally managed by Broadstone Real Estate, LLC and Broadstone Asset Management, LLC. The fund sponsors are Norman Leenhouts, Amy Tait and Robert Tait.
