Easyroad (to be renamed CityBlock) plc - First Day of Dealings on AIM


Easyroad plc ('Easyroad' or 'the Company') announces the admission of its
Ordinary Shares to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London
Stock Exchange ('AIM').



Key Points



*   The Company's shares began trading on AIM today


*   A total of 21,842,097 Ordinary Shares were admitted to trading,
    giving a market capitalisation at the Placing Price of #10.5m


*   Easyroad, to be renamed CityBlock, was formed in March 2003 as a cash 
    shell to attract companies and businesses which are seeking admission to
    trading on AIM


*   Following the acquisition of CityBlock and the Placing, Easyroad
    will change its name to CityBlock plc.


*   The acquisition of CityBlock, which is a developer of student
    accommodation property, satisfies the Company's acquisition criteria


*   Following the Placing, the Group will have total available cash of
    #600,000


*   The Company's Nominated Adviser and Broker is W.H. Ireland Limited


Trevor Bargh, Managing Director of the Company, commented, 'We believe that we
have identified key issues which are relevant to students living in private
off-campus accommodation. Issues include; poor quality of maintenance and
repair, fear of crime and undesirable locations. We believe the opportunity for
CityBlock lies in the provision of accommodation which successfully addresses
these issues.  We are pleased with the progress at our initial site in
Lancaster, where construction has commenced and is expected to complete by
October 2003. Admission of the Company's securities to AIM will now afford us
the opportunity to develop the business and start to realise its potential.'
