Posted at 07/2/2008 13:22 by m.t.glass Having dropped down through that 45p level, the only other past low is the very old pre-ZTX 28.5p -- if that has any relevance at all now. (It shouldn't really - but by the same token neither should the 45p, but it did)Menthol - yes, the Plusmarket trades will have an effect on price, even though the trades data may not show up on LSE feeds. The same MMs will be aware of the Plus trades and will amend their prices at times. |

Posted at 24/2/2006 22:20 by the great white ZETEX is set to turn around as new managment team looks to turn chip maker round after a slump in profits and a £18.4 million reduction in its cash pile last year. The company has a new CEO and a new CFO lined up.Their first task will be to cut 60 jobs and save £1.5 million a year.A strong chip cycle will help zetex in 2006 after a favourable industry climate.net assets 53p.....net cash 6million .....dividend yield 2.8% broker ABN Amro maintaining it's pre-tax profit of £4.53m with EPS of 3.93p.Very under valued at these levels.£3-£4 target. |
Posted at 16/2/2006 15:36 by menthol Was just wondering how much the Gem Mill is worth once planning permission is granted. This was mentioned in the recent set of results. There could be a nice little special dividend if they get the planning permission they are seeking. |
Posted at 09/1/2006 15:48 by pbracken Well, ZTX has well and truly smashed my target trading range. It will soon move into 'overbought territory', if such a place exists - so expect a decent pullback and take advantage of it is my opinion... |
Posted at 05/12/2005 11:14 by pbracken Love the header - let's change it to 'Crashed and Burned'! No position in ZTX but wondered if anyone here (more informed than me) might speculate as to its prospects. I last had a look on news of the IC tip (LOL). My (speculative) take is that we see a drift to 55p and then a trading range between 55p and 65p offering a few tasty 'in and outs'. Thereafter, well updates and results will decide... |
Posted at 08/2/2005 11:20 by madasafish results due soon. With so much cash, they must be considering bolt on acquisitions...or a bigger dividend or both |
Posted at 09/9/2004 17:39 by ivyeileen Correction - apologies, have just spotted that, on 11th June, ZTX announces appointment of new Fin Officer and adds thanks to retiring Rattray for "his considerable contribution within the finance function".......... but it would have been nice to the guy to have included something like this in the Interims dated 20th July. |
