10/7/2006 12:20 | EGM next Monday - shares placed at 400p will becme tradeable on the Tuesday aty a 10% premium. I doubt however that the share will do anything other than rise as I expect comments to confirm that the company is flying at the moment. Results on 27th July. | silverfern
22/6/2006 12:05 | (Go half way down the current RMS): "Zetar expects to report sales for the year ended 30 April 2006 ahead of current market expectations, at approximately #57.5 million. Accordingly, the Board believes that Zetar's profit before non-recurring costs, amortisation and tax will also exceed current market expectations..... Trading in the current financial year, which commenced on 1 May 2006, is in line with the Board's expectations. " In effct the Board's expectations for current trade also are ahead of market expectations. WHatever forecasts are out there, they are below what's really happening. IMHO | silverfern
22/6/2006 10:47 | Silverfern, Agree it looks a good acquisition. Where did you see trading 'above' forecasts? I can only see 'trading since year end in line with Director's expectations'. MJ | mjcrockett
22/6/2006 08:44 | When the market wakes up to this latest acquisition this will climb again - note the confirmation of performance since end of APril (ie that it is above current forecasts) | silverfern
05/6/2006 09:38 | lack of any buying or selling I Would imagine plus the notion that suppliers are having amrgins squeezed by supermarkets. I think the World CUp will provide a great opportunity to sell the tailored products Zetar specialise in - I will buy more if it drops further. Longer term, I feel as confident as I've ever felt on the success of this company | silverfern
05/6/2006 08:26 | Any rumours on the reason for the drop in share price? | charles7
09/5/2006 16:00 | Decent trading statement and less shares being traded than in the last few weeks. Less than £10k worth. Be interesting to see if any papers/tip sheets report on this tomorrow. | billiam
09/5/2006 07:52 | A great trading statement and prompted me to buy more at 450p - whatever movement today, I belive this will seem cheap when the results come out | silverfern
27/4/2006 19:46 | well I've never understood whether the figures given by advfn represent all dealings and under what ruling all dealings have to be declared - especially when we see that 50k has been recently acquired. Whether it is good value depends on how they progress with the acquisitions - I have a whack of these under 300p and would have added a shed load but for the relatively short amount of info to go on. REason being is Ian Blackburn track record and the fact it is covered by the tipsheets so there is a profile | silverfern
27/4/2006 10:44 | No idea what is going on, but long may it continue! | blobby
27/4/2006 10:09 | Market Makers short of stock at the moment? Few recent increments on very little or, in todays case, no trades. Comments welcome | billiam
06/4/2006 22:27 | It's mentioned in Shares mag, so luckily I got that right - we'll have to wait and see about the next 2 years. | silverfern
06/4/2006 14:18 | Hmmm, I can't see this going anywhere fast. But over the next 2 years I expect it to be worthwhile. Its not a high news company, or an exciting business, just a value / growth share. | blobby
06/4/2006 12:50 | supershare! I expect renewed buy recs as Zetar is covered by a lot of tipsheets and hopefully the market spread will narrow - this is just getting up and running. | silverfern
30/3/2006 07:58 | I think you were right! THe good news is that a placing for 350p has been agreed and fully subscribed - the concern is I don't know if we can subscribe to it! and now the price is ahead of that. I'm not too concerned of course | silverfern
25/3/2006 12:12 | Keep up the good work silverfern. Am here with you. Has now been over 2 months since any news. Agred that hopefully something will come along soon. Perhaps a tick-up in trading will be a signal. | billiam
25/3/2006 10:42 | "We are actively pursuing our search for value enhancing acquisition opportunities and are encouraged by the current pipeline of targets under review." I guess the longer the share price holds up and the nearer we get to a new acquisition the better! | silverfern
04/2/2006 19:23 | Good article in Investors Chronicle - a buy | silverfern
31/1/2006 15:43 | Thanks - I thought I was missing a bit | silverfern
26/1/2006 11:02 | Silverfern, you may have missed out a bit in your sums. Taking your £2m profit and dividing by 7m gives a profit per share of 28.5p which when divided into the price gives a ratio of around 11. However, the forecast I have for PBT is £3.33m, but then you will need to deduct interest and tax from this for EPS. Whatever, I do agree with you that ZTR is cheap. It is interesting to compare the turnover of Glisten which in the current year will be slighly higher than the Market Cap with Zetar, where the market cap is around half of the turnover. MJ | mjcrockett
26/1/2006 08:51 | LOoks like an annual turnover of betweeen £40 and £48m is well feasible depending on how you read the statemnt. £200k fine to pay off loan early saves £1m in the long-term (previous statement) and borrowings fall away as the Xmas spend is recouped when supermarkets pay them. They have draw down facilities to take away any exceptional running cost issues. Finally on an operational level they are profitable on a £21.9m turnover so £40m should produce economics of scale - say a profit before goodwill (which is reducing of course) of £2m. THere are 7m shares in issue so a forward p/e of 3.5 is staring me in the face. They have debt but all in all I like the look of it. Hve I got this wrong? - comments welcome please | silverfern
24/1/2006 07:14 | Interim Results - Highlights Highlights * Kinnerton Group Limited ("Kinnerton"), Zetar's first acquisition, performed strongly in the seasonally quiet first half of the financial year, underpinning a good financial performance for Zetar. 23/1/2006 18:42 | yep - we'll know soon enough - scarce markeyt that's for sure | silverfern
23/1/2006 11:35 | taken a small punt this morning - mm's pushing the price up very substantial director buys last Nov. | gardenboy
23/1/2006 11:17 | Results tomorrow. Price creeping up nicely. No comments? Weird | billiam |
