Executive Team Changes

London, 15 December 2016 - Worldpay Group plc (Worldpay) is today announcing some executive team changes which will support us in delivering our plans for the medium-term.

Ruth Prior, currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Worldpay, will become Chief Operating Officer. In this newly-created role, Ruth will oversee key elements of operational finance, risk and compliance, as well as strategic supplier management. Ruth will also continue to lead the implementation of our new acquiring platform across the business.

Dave Hobday, Managing Director, Worldpay UK has resigned from Worldpay to take up a position as Chief Executive of a private equity owned business. We have finalised the appointment of his successor, who has significant board level experience at a UK plc, and a strong track record in business transformation and financial services. We expect to be able to announce this appointment and for him to join Worldpay in the New Year. Dave will leave Worldpay following a handover period.
