Publication Announcement: Notice of General Meeting

Further to the Company's announcement on 28 March 2017, the Company announces that a Notice of General Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 23 May 2017 (the "Notice") is being posted to shareholders today.

The Notice contains the proposal to change of name of the Company to Ferguson plc with effect from 31 July 2017.

The General Meeting will take place at 4pm, Swiss time, on Tuesday, 23 May 2017 at Parkhotel, Industriestrasse 14, CH-6304 Zug, Switzerland with an audio-visual link proposed to be available at the offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, 26-28 Tudor Street, London EC4Y 0BQ, United Kingdom at 3pm, UK time.

In accordance with LR 9.6.1 a copy of the Notice has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/nsm.
