Following the announcement of a share placing by Western & Oriental plc on 30 
March 2010, the Company is pleased to announce a new substantial shareholder. 
 
Options Cassoulides PLC, is a Cypriot quoted company which has two principal 
divisions, a conference organising business and a printing business, operating 
in a number of European countries. Options Cassoulides participated in the 
Company's share placing investing some GBP1.5m in new shares which has resulted 
in a shareholding of 100,000,000 shares, being 27.8% of the Company's enlarged 
share capital. 
 
Options Cassoulides has confirmed that they intend retaining the shareholding as 
a trading investment. 
A copy of the formal notification of a major interest in shares providing 
further details is attached.
