Im really suprised this has fallen to this level. Well done woa for calling this down from 60p. You must be making a small fortune on your short. Dont get too greedy though, its not a profit until you close it. :)
Directors buying was one of the reasons I got in here, im sure they see it as good value. It may take a while for VYKE to get back to a respectable share price, but with a 10 million line of credit available if they need it, the future is looking a lot better for this company than for many others.
Surprised ... directors buying ... good value .. a while to get back to a respectable share price ... the future is looking a lot better .....
Hilarious. What a clown.|

A NEW BATCH OF SUCKERS ARE BORN WITH EVERY NEW PLAY.
The Financial Markets are a Cruel, Unkind and Dangerous Playing Field, one place where the newest amateurs are generally fleeced the most brutally.... usually by those who KNOW the above rules. Just as I have a duty to ensure that each of you understand how this game is played, YOU now have that same duty to guarantee that your fellow speculator understands these rules. Just as I would be a criminal for not making this data known to you, YOU would be just as criminal to keep it a secret. There will always be an unsuspecting, trusting fool whom the rabid dogs will tear to shreds, but it does NOT have to be this way. IF every subscriber made this essay broadly known to his friends, acquaintances and family, and they passed it on to their friends, word of mouth could cause many of these market manipulators to pause. IF this effort were done strenuously by many, then perhaps the financial markets could weed out the crooked manipulators and the promoters could bring us more legitimate plays. The stock markets are a financing tool. The companies BORROW money from you, when you invest or speculate in their companies. They want their share price going higher so they can finance their deal with less dilution of their shares... if they are good guys. But, how would you feel about a friend or family member who kept borrowing money from you and never repaid it? That would be theft, plain and simple. So, a market manipulator is STEALING your money.|
|shaws37: justlooking is taking this battering of his share price very well, at times.
Will vyke turn the lights out for the last time today ?
The board of Vyke (the "Board") is pleased to announce that the bondholder and the lender have each agreed to an extension of the deadlines of the Payments to 28 February 2011 in order to conclude discussions which the Board believes should facilitate a long-term solution and ensure Vyke should have have a sustainable business model moving forward.
In addition, the Board is also pleased to announce that BLS Telecom LLC has agreed that the repayment of any money owed to it under the US$500,000 discretionary working capital facility will be deferred to 28 February 2011.
Further announcements in relation to the discussions above will be made at the appropriate time.|

moreforus - 13 Jan'11 - 10:01 - 45441 of 45507
LM i know!
why would anyone take shares at 2p if they didnt think a deal was done and they were going to get more
Hey moreforus i agree 100% with you ~ to me VYKE whilst obviously highly speculative does offer tremendous upside potential ~ as i mentioned earlier imho that upside potential in the share price is some 1000% +|
|maqsud: We all agree results are bad and to be honest is what was expected and the share price reflects this.
One needs to assess where is it likely to go from here...Recovery or Receivership? Both are strong possibilities and need to be considered.
What appeals to me is the outlook and appointments..
"Further synergies with Bonjour are being planned for the coming months which will allow for additional substantial reductions in the Group's cost base. We
also hope to be able to commence the marketing of Vyke.com and other services in the US and Latin America with Bonjour within the next few months where we will be able to benefit from Bonjour's pre-existing infrastructure.
We look forward to developing this relationship further over the coming months, and, with it, providing ourselves a springboard to put the Group on a stronger footing. At the same time, we are also considering a number of potential new projects and discussions continue about a commercial distribution agreement with a large UK retail distributor, which, if completed, would considerably enhance UK sales
The new appointments brings much needed confidence in management which the wider telecoms and banking industry will recognise.
" we have the right team in place to deliver on our strategy of reducing operating costs and capitalising on the distribution channels and strategic alliances that we have put in place to open up the Vyke product line to new customers worldwide"
I am in no way ramping Vyke but just trying to assess and analyse shareholders precarious situaution.I am a holder and remain a holder as to be honest as one would say too deep to get out...I can sympathise with all shareholders and can only say ride out the storm and you just might see this thru.
|robandkerry: "You have been long of and bullish about Vyke as the share price has collapsed in value so whether you're willing to admit it of not you have ACTUALLY been wrong whereas I have the potential to be wrong but have history on my side".
You make it sound like I have been a holder of VYKE for years. I have not actually been a holder of VYKE for that long. If you read back over my posts I first bought VYKE at 14p. I now have an average of 5.3p. Yes I have lost money on VYKE (not technically, unless they go bust, which imo is unlikely), and I was wrong to buy VYKE at 14p, but while you have been concentrating on slagging off VYKE I have been buying and selling shares in other companies and making up the money I have lost.
"You know in your heart of hearts that Vyke has a good chance of going bust - that's why you're so aggressive towards anyone who says so".
VYKE is priced to go bust. If you had half a brain and took off your blinkers you would realise that its not going bust. So in my opinion an average price of 5.3p is going to make me a lot of money when the price recovers.
"But keep coming back and making a pillock of yourself - always good to have a nutter to laugh at".
You really cant see it can you, people are laughing at you my friend, its you that is making a pillock of yourself, not me.|
|water off a: One good thing about the continued weakness in the Vyke share price is that it has shut up the witless "fanatics". Boy were they noisy when the share price briefly spiked on the seemingly fake "Latin Amercia distribution deal" but how quickly they went quiet again when reality gained hold.
The other good thing about it is that it's quite funny.|
|daltic21: Not sure I'd go that far but think we could all agree that the chap who calls himself Fat Ken on iii is never going to win Mastermind. In fact, the way he writes, I'd doubt if he finished his education. He's entertaining of course but I think everyone was disgusted when he had a bet on the Vyke share price and then refused to pay up, especially as the money was to go to a charity for very ill kids.|
