The board of this company hold over 52% of the shares. Any deal therefore, IMO, will be in the interest of shareholders.

Fund raising, I was thinking consolidation,
hence I bough a few yesterday?

With the share price this low it would be prime time to
round everything down, reduce the amount of shares
in circulation, announce a deal making it attractive
for institutions to buy in.

With the markets as they are, there's a lot of money
floating about where people have moved it - banks
etc. and will be looking for somewhere with prospects?

AIMHO, but the results did not sound too bad, and web site
has been up-dated.

How long has it been a mess [over a year]. So why do it now,
unless there is something in the wind?

We just need the right news at a time of unbalance in the market.

Any company that announces something positive will be
jumped on by investors.

Only my thoughts, but you never know and as it is,
We could do with something positive to move this share
in the right direction for a change.

Fund raising in the offing, how much dilution will this cause?

Hi shaun - am in the same boat as you. Getting smacked everywhere at the moment, my portfolio was supposed to be diverse i.e. coal, oil, pharmas, renewable energy, gold mining, and electronics. All down and the way the markets are going who knows when it will stop? FTse was down 300 early doors, up following rate cuts and now down 200 just in time for the yanks to spread more cheer.
Lets hope for a turnaround and soon..VVM look as if they are out of the starting blocks so lets hope they can finish the race as it's been a bloody long slog holding these.

Hello shaun - think the crunch has caught up with us. Someone sold 600 quids worth (300k of shares) and wiped 40% of the market value!!!

I agree PC, the 200k is a buy also.

Wonder what it would take to move this up 33%? I reckon that 250k was a buy and pc's 100k outweighs the early 300k but we are still down. Must suit the mm's or maybe they are trying to provoke some interest here. If the latter they should have done it earlier as it will be lost in the present turmoil.

Sure does look bad when 600 quids worth can contribute towards a 40% drop!!
Markets are totally unreal at the moment which doesn't help but this fall is surreal.

Rupert - I have been here since the redeye days and averaged down ever since.

See the Interims are out and interesting to see involvement with CDI who appear to be a the USA equivelent of Cellartis. Europe and USA to maximise our coverage, just need a foothold in Asia now!!

Cash or lack of it was expected and I hope they can start getting some deals in pretty sharpish now they are moving forwards.

Digger, I have a very modest investment in VVM which I have built since the sale of Zi. When the price descends to stupid levels and the brokers have enough stock available to make it economic to purcahse I put my toe in the market.

Rupert - thanks for the clear and concise explanation. I sometimes get lost trying to understand some of this technical terminology. Amazing what's out there on the web nonetheless.

PS Have you been lurking long?

Digger, what you have here is VivoMedica's IMI grant application under the seventh frame work agreement (EU FP7 2008) seeking collaboration partner/s for research into neurodegenerative disorders based on the original application of Drugprint as a neurological toxicity testing system and the advancement of the Drugprint technology in cardiac. (Hence the web site you found originating from the EU in Belgium.) I believe VVM have commented on a number of occasions that they would look for soft/grant money opportunities to develop and broaden their research based franchise. Cellartis gave VVM access to human stem cells for cardiac toxicity testing and have a portfolio of liver cells as well. From what I can read here VVM is looking to collaborate with a leading european neuro player with who it can work to apply the Drugprint technology.

Well the Interim results are due before end of month so lets hope we have some good news.

Got a little read here which may or may not add to what we already know about the Cellartis collabaration. I quite like this "extra" which should please a lot of people :-

"A further benefit of our technology is that by refining the drug discovery process it will enable the industry to reduce and replace the need for animal testing."
