Utilitywise plc (AIM: UTW), a leading independent utility cost management consultancy, has been notified that on 5 May 2017 Brendan Flattery, Chief Executive Officer, was granted an option over 13,432 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") under the Utilitywise Savings Related Share Option Scheme (the "Sharesave Scheme").

The Sharesave Scheme, which is an HMRC-approved, equity-settled SAYE share option plan for employees, was established in 2012. The 2017 grant, which is over a total of 1,545,758 shares, has a three-year vesting period and an exercise price of GBP1.34 per share. On exercise it is intended that the options will be satisfied by existing shares.

The Company was notified of the above transaction on 5 May 2017.
