07/4/2016 13:31 | I have to say I was furious at the time, when a refusal by Barclays Stockbrokers to co-operate/comply, meant I was "consolidated out" of my TXO shares. However it does now mean that I can offset my loss against last year's reasonable profits. It is not as if TXO was even intending to make fractional payments, although at the time the wayward Barclays tried to console me with such a promise but gave me an "ex-gratia" £50.00 instead! | howesp
07/4/2016 12:42 | Billy, It means you won't see a penny of your money back, but whilst they are able to limp on as a zombie Ltd you cannot even crystallise your loss to offset against capital gains tax. | sweet karolina
07/4/2016 10:21 | So what does this mean for us now? | billyf3
07/4/2016 07:23 | Now on CH: The resolutions were clearly passed and CTA is no longer a PLC. | sweet karolina
02/4/2016 08:14 | I am keeping an eye on Companies House the move to private company status will appear there in due course. The move to private company status is a ruse to duck out of having to file fully audited accounts and therefore allow the company to continue as a complete zombie for years. Nobody will ever see a penny back, however as the shares will still exist and the company will exist on paper, you will not be able to write your loss off against capital gains. Nice one Tim! If Tim and Chris had stood down a year ago TXO would still have been AIM listed and would have had some new assets injected into it. Now trapped shareholders can't even write off their losses. | sweet karolina
01/4/2016 15:01 | What will happen if they do go private? Will we get any money back ? | boblee123

19/3/2016 00:45 | Wellllll here's the thing I believe TEB, MadMal, and their various accomplices are banking on: Nobody AT ALL really wants those leases. These scumbags have no real competition, since the proven chance of finding an economically viable drilling location in the lease area is ZERO. So, in the complete absence of any other options (due to the complete absence of possible financial returns)TEB and MadMal get the leases by default. Of course, they spin the award as a complete vindication and total victory, and pump the shares like mad. It's the nightmare scenario.. but possible. What do MadMal and TEB have to lose, at this point? | ih_237920
16/3/2016 03:58 | Hi Pitts, I must drop in on the EEGC thread sometime. Probably when the licence gets refused / awarded to someone else. It does seem to be taking rather a long time for MRT to work out that EEGC has no money, Alpha has no money and Derlite has a tiny amount of money, but nowhere near enough. May be TEB has finally realised what a complete farce the whole Tasmania thing was and that is why he left to concentrate on other business activities like driving another nail into the TXO coffin whilst trying to con trapped mug punters into putting money in to his container manufacturing scams. Or maybe they booted him out because he is such a massive liability. | sweet karolina
15/3/2016 23:15 | Oh TEB, what a POS you are. I check in from time to time, good to see a few still guarding the ramparts. | ih_237920 |
