|danny murphy: Good win at Wolves now for Liverpool. Hopefully share price will increase shortly.|
|yesrupnel: I expected a bounce in the share price today as they are now in Champions League - but there is plenty of small buys but the price has hardly shifted.|
|yesrupnel: 50,000 shares just bought for 71p - higher than the existing trading range of 67-70p. Followed by a small buy of 3500 shares at 69.1p.
Could be some interest in the share price now as the next few matches could decide if TTNM are in the Champions or Europa League - the Champions League is far more lucrative so lets hope they stay in 4th place.|

Jol gone very sad! Takeover? Is DL buying out JL??
If so that won't change the share price! All IMO. Lol|
|ukhawk: Papillon, ok maybe Ashley's example wasn't a good one, as his original purchase was a much smaller percentage than Enic's original share of TTNM. The part of Totters post which I didn't agree with was the last paragraph where he stated that "the froth" in the share price would now more or less disappear. It could be argued that Enic now have all their ducks in a row for a possible take-over, but it's more likely they have a more elaborate idea in mind.|
|totters: Sir Alan obviously wanted to sell his stake and ENIC didn't want to risk a possible predator getting a toe hold into the club from which they could build a stake to launch a take-over.
As ENIC already held more than 30% of the shares and have now increased their holding they are obliged to offer the remaining shareholders 113.6p a share in cash under the City Code.
It does not look like that they are actively loking to accquire any more shares but just meeting their obligations under the City Code if other shareholders don't want to cash in at 113.6p I don't think they will be bothered and that is why they are maintaining the AIM listing.
It looks like ENIC still intend to control the club and won't be putting it up for sale. Therefore the market are going to value the club at more fundemental levels and at the moment the fundemental price is around 113p as that is what ENIC will pay for the shares. The froth in the share price caused by take-over rumours had now more or less disappeared.|
|cockneyrebel: Still a big buyer about.
Must be a statement re share price soon you'd have thought.
Seen how cheap Birmingham City (BMC) is? In the Prem now, pick up £30m for doing it - Mkt cap still just £20m. Seems way too cheap to me - Sulivan will sell out at the right price but bet that's well north of here.
Chart nicely on a support level too imo.
|cockneyrebel: firm again today - up 25% in a fortnight, hopefully the co will be forced to do a 'reason for share price movement' statement eventually.
Hardly a seller in sight.
|hartsg: Does anyone know what's happening to cause the share price to increase significantly?|
|rosiella: I know we are starting the season very well, but the share price is outperforming our league position, anyone h?ve a clue to whats going on?|
