The Market Age plc ("The Group")

The Company was notified on 6 April 2004 that The Smith Trust, of which Shane
Smith, Chief Executive Officer of the Company is atrustee and beneficiary, sold
on that date 300,000 ordinary shares at 22.5p per share.  Following the sale,
The Smith Trust is interested in 8,939,549 ordinary shares, representing 51.4%
of the share capital of the Company.
