This is a strange cookie.....been in the doldrums for years and really shouldn't be because they have good products and each part of the company is Industry Standard and leader in their particular fields. I think it must be the management that's lacking and maybe its time they moved on...this has the makings of a takeover - which should see a good upside to the share price DYOR.

Strange, sells seem to outweigh buys, yet 40%+ up. Large T trade still to be reported?

It's the soundproofing material which could set this share alight, again I'm afraid it will be down to company marketing expertise, oh dear!

Flushing gutters about sums it up. Worldwide patent and had a lot of bad luck over the years (poor management and poor DD before buying other companies).

Held for over 10 years, average price 2.75p. Too depressing to think about.

Could 2 or 3 bag with ease but currently raising funds hence the rise (if it looks as if they will get it).

There's been steady buying this week, mm's have split it up into smaller lot's, in my view.

Could be Frank has decided their too cheap to miss.

Can't help feeling that this group, in the right hands, could do good business.

anyone received the document referred to in the results. This should have been sent to shareholders in mid January. If so could someone post a brief summary. it has gone very quiet here.

Looks like a January rights issue from the Finals.

Major dilution but I will probably take them up.

As an AIM company they don't need a rights issue to dilute us but without reorganising the share capital they can't issue shares at less than 2p.

Call me perverse but I think that a company which says it may need to raise capital and then does not is better (and much rarer) than the ones who claim to have a business plan and then end up with billions of shares.

If they can see blue water ahead then this could have a respectable up side.

cossie, thanks for the post. Always looking to average down but also seen it as too high risk. You post suggests alot but reading between the lines does not necessarily mean that the share price will rise on the back of any news.

The "behind the scenes" bit suggests the possibility of selling off a few bit or all of the company, a rights issue to raise capital OR a management buyout at 1.5p (which would be very annoying).

Anywhere close?

BritishBear, I too hold quite a few so I don't want to appear ramping these. I was told that news would be 3-4 weeks away. The business is doing extremely well and lets say there may be a few changes. The price is reflecting the lack of shares available at this level with the seller now cleared. All the recent trades at mid price have been buys. This could move quickly on any RNS.

edit - a lot is going off behind the scenes at SWP.

cossie, based on what information? How do you know this? Holding 000's of shares at 2.5p average. Long way to go but we just need one set of results without any bad news for these to fly
