bozzy_s: Was there any return for shareholders of OCH? I never held shares there, but do remember some wild swings in the share price towards the end.

bozzy_s: What's the feeling here? I'm pretty negative with no RTO announcement by 31-July. Net tangible asset value might be multiples of suspended share price, but not much cash, and very illiquid land assets. Hope my negativity is wrong and mentally writing off my 300,000 shares as worthless proves to be premature.

bozzy_s: Flurry of activity today. Glad to have started it off. Looking for any sort of intent to dispose of properties in next week's announcement. Even at 50% of 'market value' would represent a large premium to current share price. And there must be buyers willing to pay a discounted rate.

dicko80: Induna, 22nd Sept BuySell As highlighted in our previous report released at the end of June 2011, The Company is still in talks with various parties, including BuySell with a view to resolving its outstanding claims. Although progress has been slow because of the complexities of some of the issues, The Company continues to believe that there is a realistic possibility that the talks will be concluded successfully and hopes to be able to make an announcement detailing progress later in 2011. This would clearly be a positive development for the Company and its shareholders. However at this stage the Group still values the BuySell inventory as nil. The Company rescinded six contracts with BuySell, a Bulgarian property development company, on 17 April 2009 due to BuySell's non performance of their contractual duty to deliver completed properties in Sofia to the Company by the due date. As a result of BuySell's non-performance the Company is entitled to claim the repayment of its €9.5 million deposit plus penalties of an additional €9.5 million. dicko80: I think your right tom and OCH have just released this...... RNS Number : 2738W Orchid Developments Group Ltd 27 January 2012 AIM: OCH 27 January 2012 Orchid Developments Group Ltd ("Orchid" or the "Company") Statement re share price movement The Company notes the movement in its share price yesterday and also notes press commentary in relation to a possible offer for its key asset, the Grand Mall in Varna. The Company can confirm that no offer or approach for the property has been received to date. However, the Company can confirm that it has received a preliminary approach from a third party which may or may not lead to an offer for the Company being made. The approach is at a very early stage and there can be no guarantee that it will result in an offer being made. The Company which is incorporated in the Cayman Islands is not subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers ("Code"). Consequently, there will be no automatic 28 day "put up or shut up" as would be the case were the Company subject to the Code. Further announcements will be made as appropriate.

chinahere: Thanks for the reply bulgarianpropertydoteudotcom ! I also thought it would take a few years for the Bulgarian market to return. Will look at Super Borovets - though so far I can't find a broker that lists it. The company in this thread (SPFL) appear to me to have potential: -Current share price 3.25 pence with 67 million shares in issue valuing the company at £2.2 million -22 pence per share Net Asset Value (NAV) which implies £14.9 million total. (Over 6 times current share price). -Virtually no debt -Are owed money from a Bulgarian construction company 'BuySell'. They are due 9.5 million Euros from a deposit and 9.5 million Euros for a contract penalty. So a total of 19 million Euros that they are in legal process with and the Investment Manager said in the latest report: "there is a realistic possibility that the talks can be concluded successfully". Should they be successful then the NAV would double. -There is talk of a legal challenge to one of their subsidiaries but they appear confident that it is groundless. I think any legal loss would be isolated to the subsidiary anyway. -The fund is designed to pay no dividend but return all its assets to shareholders in September 2012. The main problem appears to be they have no real revenue or cash in the bank. Admin fees and wages etc. are burning through over 600,000 Euro per year and they are trying to fundraise via more share placings. This would further dilute the shares but if done well I reckon an extra 40 million shares at 2.5p would keep the wolves from the door for another year. Should the market for development land improve then they could sell off some land and stay secure, similarly if they get their 19 million Euros then they are setup. As always DYOR
