CONFIRMATION OF AUDITOR RESIGNATION AND TRANSITION
At the Annual General Meeting of Senior plc ("the Company") held on 21 April 2017, shareholders approved the appointment of KPMG LLP as Auditor of the Company for the financial year commencing 1 January 2017, following the conclusion of a tender process for the statutory audit contract. Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte") has confirmed its resignation as Auditor of the Company, in accordance with Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, and provided the following Statement of Circumstances:
"The Company undertook a competitive tender process for the position of statutory auditor and the Company decided not to re-appoint Deloitte LLP."
A copy of Deloitte's Statement of Circumstances is being sent to shareholders for information only, as required by Section 520(2) of the Companies Act 2006 and will shortly be available to view on the National Storage Mechanism.
The Company's Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Deloitte for its external audit services to the Senior plc Group over the past 16 years.
