I agree that it's not for widows and orphans, but investors in large energy projects tend to think very long term, so I don't see the grid connection issue as an insurmountable barrier.
The recently announced Hinkley Point power station development for example won't open for ten years -

"What does the nuclear deal with China mean?

... Where will the power stations be built?
The first will be built at Hinkley Point on the Somerset coast, and is expected to open by 2025 ..."

REH also looks to have very good potential as an energy shell, with its large tax losses, and Utilico's near 30% holding - so the main creditor has a vested interest in keeping REH going in some form.

Could the listing be utilised by CWE (Carnegie Wave Energy) to obtain a dual-listing in London?

"... Clearly the expectation of a Kobylany sale completion by the end of 2013 has not been met, and is now nearly six months overdue.
My suspicion, sadly, is that the hoped for sale price will not be offered, which clearly has major implications in view of REH's total liabilities of £5.83M. as at 30th. September 2013.
It could also mean that the auditors put pressure on REH to write down the book value of Kobylany. ..."

The only surprise was that the value of Kobylany was not written down earlier (i.e. 2104 finals), as in my opinion investors have been strung on for a long time on unrealistic Poland valuation hopes.

But even an impairment of over £2M. looks too little: in my opinion a valuation of over £1M. for Kobylany looks too much, meaning that it is still valued at far above what it should be.

We are holding one of our popular Investor Masterclasses in Manchester so local investors and shareholders in REH may be interested in attending as REH is based nearby our venue...

REH is still very much off the radar , once a few more small investors get interested after realising its Potential we should make double figures , not many shares around either.Lots of positives here.

JOGREH = Black hole, sank and sank until almost gone, finally when finance was sorted the market did not react, when planning finally went into project phase with an aplication the market ignored it, when the director bought shares I nearly fainted, 'i mean why buy shares in a company thats delisting', and now planning phase one is less than 6 weeks away and finally a few investors found a few pennys to have a go on poor old REH! So 22p a share Is where your at with good homework, im on 5-7p for a rerate alone so in the middle we have 12! Thats fine with me, just actually hope a few other small investors smell a deal here all before the year end!Good luck on the canvassing.

Carnegie has just been paid $1.3M for their wave project in Australia.
Can't be bad for REH.

BCKTTSIMThats a good post, the MC does not reflect the value inside REH with the present stage in Wales its an investors dream, all REH dept is held by the largest shareholder, now thats confidence.Clive Callister recently bought 1% of the issued share capital - A Director is confident of a return within a year.CWE just needs one order to fly, cant be too far away.

Im an investor here and im very interested to see WEISS increased the holding to 22%, just gambling? WEISS dont gamble! Incidently I hold well over a Million shares here and consider it a very good back seat on any CWE spike and also have the Welsh project to enjoy down the line - and thats looking closer by the day.

We need some good news on sale or approval to get interest back here and new investors to buy.
