DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING

The Company has been notified of the following transaction by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 24 October 2016 Deborah Yates, Senior Vice President Global HR, a PDMR, exercised 1,083 share options granted on 7 December 2009, 2,400 options granted on 1 December 2010 and 2,468 options granted on 5 December 2011 at option prices of GBP30.78, GBP33.68 and GBP31.20 per share respectively. Mrs Yates disposed of 2,799 Shares on 24 October 2016 at GBP72.53 per share, and 494 and 457 Shares on 25 October 2016 at GBP72.78585 and GBP72.782975 per share respectively in order to meet her resultant liabilities and she retained the remaining 2,201 Shares.

Following this notification, Mrs Yates's shareholding has increased to 4,026 Shares, representing 0.0005% of the Company's issued share capital. Treasury shares have not been taken into account when calculating this percentage.
