Questions...although REM has sizeable stakes in other companies, which I'm sure we are all aware of, how does this filter into REM's share price?. If the holdings are held, how do they generate any income for REM, except when they are sold. Just like holding any share, you've neither lost or made any money until they are sold. So the recent gains in these holding companies amount to nothing until they are sold...Of more interest to myself is when will REM start digging?, or aren't they going to?...any ideas?.

Re: the post above...

Just for those who don't know, REM has an interest in Macarthur Minerals (up 75% in Oz today) as follows (from REM website):

Project - Pilibara and Ravensthorp Lithium Application
Ownership - 15.5%
Macarthur minerals has applied for exploration licenses over some 1,049 sq km withing the Pilbara and Reventhrorpe areas in Western Australia. These licenses were applied for using the currently accepted exploration model for Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum (“LCT type”) rare element pegmatites. The applications covers an area of potential pegmatite host rock sequences (‘greenstone belts’) and is located within 5–10km of interpreted syn- to post-tectonic monzogranite intrusions, which are the expected magmatic source for the pegmatites. The fertile character of the monzogranites, and potential link to lithium mineralisation, adjacent to and within the applications is highlighted by the numerous occurrences of lithium (Li), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), and beryl (Be) associated with these monzogranites. (ENDS)

This interest is in addition to owning 20% of the booming EMH, a substantial stake in the Bacanora / Sonora lithium project (also up 5% yesterday), and a free carry in the Yangibana project.

In other words, REM is having a very very good week!!!

R.E.M.'s investments flying at the moment, we just need Baconara to agree the offtakes, and whoosh. Some very shrewd investments made by Rem and DL.

I wonder why R.E.M. don't consolidate their shares on a 1:100 basis and give them a sensible base for dealing?

REM-ers might also care to look at PREM where Lenigas is collaborating on a possible JV for the PREM Zulu Lithium asset. He has a fee of 500 pounds sterling a month, but more importantly, ca. 160m warrants exercisable at 0.8p. I am sure he is expecting no less than 100%++ profit on those.

He has also personally bought 3% of BNR as he is enthusiastic abour their lithium potential.

CORRECTION - 23million options.

Bacanora (BCN) now up 7% on the day as well. EMH still 20%+ up on AIM, at over 80p a share, and slightly higher than that in Frankfurt.
Happy days for REM! This share should be good for a major rerate now.

FQR714BHP - 14 Feb 2017 - 11:11 - 29071 of 29076 - 1IMHO there will be a big cash call coming up Over on EMH in the next few weeks. The last call for cash was satisfied by REM taking a further 5% of the equity and I wouldn't bet against just one provider of cash emerging to provide monies if needed in coming weeks.I'd be surprised to see any sizeable equity issue until after the DFS which would take us into early 2018.Technically the shares have gapped up to the top of the rising channel at 80p and you'd expect the shares to rest up but the stock has really got the bit between its teeth and could run higher.Difficult to call.

At this rate the Market Cap of EMH will the same as REM and BNC put together. LOL
There is no logic in AIM at all.
I am not complaining as the share price of EMH is great for REM.
But in my book what goes up also goes down with a bang.
