Hardly any buys or sells, institutions holding as far as I can see, next set of results will be the driver IMHO (August I think), unless some annoucements before, sit tight.

the overhang of stock issued to protec holders is slowly drying up - IMO when this is absorbed a steady move north is expected

Needs more exposure in the press, next results due Aug/Sept for May year end, so unless some press releases meantime don't expect much movement until end of summer.

Lol - good point, perhaps he does! timing seems unusual and other directors sold, maybe a company/group spearmint rhino visit went wrong!

BT Pension & Royal Mail Pension funds now hold over 11% of qdg between them - they are picking up stock around the present price which must be good news for other holders of qdg - there can't be many more shares to issue to former prc holders - less stock around means a trip north soon

In fact it is probably breaking the rules to announce like that???

Also when the CEO sold half his stake after the first profits warning there was sort of another warning afterwards..... If you read the Brewin notes on the Quadnetics website the earnings for 06 were downgraded again from the period before he sold to the period after (think I am correct in that)...

So doesn't really seem right and proper!!!

Also despite the management complaining about a low share price they only bought a trivial amount when it was around £2 recently and no buying after these results when they are entitled to do so..

If the management don't put serious money where their mouth is you have to wonder why.... and the CEO selling half his stake at 245p just has a bad aurora about it...

nice performance in the end, thought it might be more muted than that.

Agree, better H2 means at least 20p eps this year I reckon.

the train has left the station and will pick up speed steadily - travelling north and most unlikely to be derailed - sorry bargain cheap fares all sold out

Statement looks pretty bullish to me. After all we had been warned about the first half.

Directors were buying not so long ago. I'd say this has a good way yet to run.

decided to get out at evens - not as good as i had hoped for - clearly the forward statement looks good but i have held forward statement stocks before and been disappointed. i think this has potential but mkt cap to profits is high even with a good pick up in business.....personally more relaxed on sidelines. will keep on radar of course...............

Being a former Protec shareholder since 2001 I welcome a dividend. These results suggest a sales turnover of +70m. Zero borrowings and 6m cash in the bank they look a very good bet in my opinion. I guess they have already provided for the Protec restructuring costs so a final year profit of 3,5m could be possible. My target share price will be £3.30 in 6 months.

H1 disappointing - often the case when little fish swallow something bigger. Not overly bullish. I particularly don't like the phrase "overall, the Directors" never sounds very convinvcing...but as you say the share price is rising. I'll continue to watch for weakness in the next few months before buying.

Yes, expected more from the first half.

They are blowing quite hot about level II tho so have to give them the benefit of the doubt I think. Market seems to like the results as the price is moving up.

Going to hold mine - they are in my pension so can play a waiting game for now tho I'm not sure there will be a lot of newsflow. They certainlyshould have a strong H2 with Protec and the demand for CCTV red hot.

A backburner stock for me at the moment.
