25/2/2003 09:33 | Thanks Nigel. I don't think Paul's figures ever placed any value on the IP, anyway. | dell314
25/2/2003 09:07 | dell - it was along the lines that it has more or less doubled since Paul Scott became involved and that things appear they may be worse than anticipated - the current crop of assets may be not worth a bean in the market so the balance of risk may be that selling to take a profit is the safest strategy. Personally my patience is holding out however - recent institutional interest gives me hope of there being a little more to come. | nigelsom

19/2/2003 11:33 | Goodbye, Dolly The untimely death last week of Dolly the sheep has prompted a rapid rethink at the shareholder action group targeting PPL Therapeutics, the biotech company that helped to create her. The group, led by Paul Scott, the serial rebel investor, wants a change of strategy at PPL or the return of cash to investors, and had used SaveDollyThe-Sheep.c A doleful missive from Mr Scott yesterday explained that, for obvious reasons, it has chosen www.RIPDollyTheSheep | isis

09/2/2003 13:37 | R.I.P Cynic - sadly missed by all of us From the Greystone column : This week brought the very sad news that our good friend Cynic passed away on Thursday. He will always be remembered as a great enthusiast and wit. Somehow it is very appropriate that Gausie chose this particular thread in which to announce the news as it demonstrates so well what a great sense of fun Cynic always maintained. I'm sure all of you who met or had contact with Cynic will join me in wishing TomJ, his son, and all of his family and friends all good things and our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Rest peacefully Cynic. | logica2me
