Posted at 16/1/2014 10:22 by bishopawn As little as 10 million shares free floating, shareguru, so you are right if the market likes this deal it won't take much buying to get traction. I notice the change of name from AEL to PLR, which suggests to me further corporate action in terms of taking a larger stake in the future. |
Posted at 16/1/2014 09:36 by maytrees Interesting PLR investment RNS this morning. Shows at least that the co is still active. |
Posted at 29/11/2013 12:41 by bishopawn In this situation, especially watching what is happening to paternoster recently, buying some plr now would make a great deal of sense, imho, ahead of news rather than after. |
Posted at 29/11/2013 12:39 by bishopawn perhaps the optimism is because of something much better....I am relaxed about plr and await the update to the market when Co is good and ready shortly, meaning days rather than weeks. |
Posted at 29/11/2013 11:27 by maytrees Greetings bishopawnprs share price sp gains today presumably indicate some optimism perhaps including brdy? If so strange imho that plr share price remains unaffected? |
Posted at 26/11/2013 18:07 by bishopawn cheeky little buy and no doubt at all; why they have a ? over it escapes me, but I wasn't moi on this occasion....perhaps we may have news before too long; not many shares and tightly held. Paternoster with a big slice of PLR I noticed have been very active of late with large trades in both directions. good luck all.AGM should be real interesting. |
Posted at 16/10/2013 09:49 by maytrees Good morningInterestingly someone earlier on this thread analysed or estimated the net worth of PLR at 1.10p - apologies if I have mis stated this. That sounds about right however but some of my plr holding was at an higher share price up to 1.40p. One either accepts the risks that a small co's management are competent and/or know what they are doing or one doesn't. If the former in the past paying a premium over the net worth seemed to me to be the price one paid for hoping that others will get on with the job of developing the co leaving me to get on with my own job or put my feet up or whatever. Shares investing certainly on AIM has changed in recent years with many seeking a quick profit and who can blame them? Still there are some investments even on AIM that appear to me at least, to be worth a longer term view despite the risk - PLR may be a fair example but dyor. |
Posted at 10/10/2013 14:13 by maytrees Greetings allPRS after some time of share price stagnation seems to be on the move N again. Possibly plr will follow but dyor - I hold both but rather more plr. |
Posted at 26/9/2013 14:10 by maytrees Greetings bishopawn and allThat trade just now of 2,750,000 plr shares at 1.40p seems unusually large. Often there are few if any PLR trades so perhaps news soon. I'm hoping that patience will prove right for plr holders - eventually |
