Pretty sure funding will still be ok . Just not possible to say exactly what income we can make from each site given that there will be some positive and negative adjustments. And by the way... bishop is fine but like me feeling bruised by yesterday.

Quote: "one thing gnawing away is where did bishoppawn go"...

I'd say he's either had a nervous breakdown and is currently under medical supervision, or he doesn't want to respond to any awkward questions - for whatever reason, or he's done a runner. Just my opinion.

As we look at this today, what effect do we see this having on securing funding and ultimately on the timescales on the build out of new sites (5/6 more this year still achievable)? Worst case scenario, assuming the proposals go through undiluted, is there enough scope left for each project to make a return?

Remember- nothing has yet changed. Plutus is still the same company it was yesterday with the same positive outlook. Last year a regulatory spanner had exactly the same effect . The regulatory change was abandoned and Plutus won contracts and the share price moved up to 3p. Nothing has happened yet to hinder the business. This was a proposal saying ofgem are"minded" to do something . I expect volatility to be high until April with downs and ups as traders move in.

Marvin . Not gnashing my teeth although my investment back to square one . Yesterday was horrid , there is no denying. Ppg were hugely honest yesterday and were blindsided by the severity of the proposal. They are massively confident the proposals will be hugely watered down but have clearly said they will not comment on the issue. As said in the rns they welcome reviews of funding in the industry but this one is ill considered . I am massively down on where I was two days ago so of course am upset . But I do have confidence in the team managing plutus who are honest and hard working and alway willing to talk to shareholders

marvin9 - Don't expect an RNS any time soon - Until the consultation process and formal decisions have been announced, PPG will not be making further comment.

Anyway, enough said, lets move on.... Asked what's the damage to PPG with this announced threat.

What's PPG got to offer new investors.

Lets talk about Positives, we need an urgent RSN from PPG to support the company

What is it with you lot.. I said I had concerns and said something was not right and those concerns where proven to be right.

I probably saved a few investors from losing their shirt; and you still come here talking to me as if it was my fault the share price crashed.

Few points:

I have never claimed to have insider knowledge or have close contact with PPG directors like some ;)

I have never boasted about little ducks in a line promising a positive stream of news that will enhance the share price very soon.

I have never constantly boasted about the number of shares I topped up and miracle lows on every buy.

I have never boasted I have sold every other stock I hold to buy PPG.

I have never boasted this stock will be my pension and it is a sure bet to make you fortunes.

I never boasted about a long line of ducks being lined up that will mega boost the share price.

On and on.

When you smell a rat, their is probably a nest of em ;)

Not one of those supposed buyers have come back onto the boards and complained they have now lost more than half of their investment?????????
Very weird, lost all that money and not one complaint?????????? Mmmmmmmm, something aint right ;)

Don't matter how much you try and sweep this under the carpet, this was blatant insider dumper dealing at mega levels. Find the mega dumper and Alles wird klar sein!

Anyone calculated how much this news will affect PPG future profits, direction?

Marvin9, hola. ..stop all these accusations. Bishop etc have only been commenting and giving their views based on the information available in the public domain. .Their views have always been useful...we all discussed these regulatory risk over a year ago and before. There has been no need to keep on repeating them .it's v easy with the benefit of hindsight to say everyone was wrong. I was wrong as well..mind you I agree with 1savvy's points about the other aspects of the biz

This RNS wasn't needed and has been a complete own goal. we now need more assurances on how the business model mitigates this and what impact it COULD have on PPG's near term plan...

But any announcement by Ofgem regarding reductions was always going to tank the share price whether a neutral effect or not. Also why did the directors not mention this was coming in the VOX podcast.Same again pumped up with no risk attached to it which was wrong.Any new investors did not get a balanced view by the other bulletin board or by the directors on the podcast.Wrong by the directors and wrong by people who are critical to any negative comments here

The proposals that we knew about were expected to have a neutral effect on the business; some losses but matched by gains in other areas. The current proposal is supposed to increase the price of capacity mechanism but probably won't

So what about this then.Plain in sight in the public domain
hxxps://www.out-law.com/en/articles/2016/december/unsustainable-embedded-benefits-still-cause-for-concern-says-ofgem/
"Plans to address the "unsustainable" rising cost of certain payments made to small-scale distribution connected electricity generators will be published early in the new year, Ofgem has announced.05 Dec 2016

All the main culprits knew something was going to come from this article ,admitted not the detail but still chose to avoid it.

Hi Limegrass, I understand your point but honestly the people that u guys are pointing fingers at could have easily been equally caught out by today's news. I have been bullish about the Co myself and been quite happy to say so yet I was caught off guard by today's bombshell..one can only comment based on existing regulations and I sincerely believe that everyone was commenting based on that. ..I think it would be wrong for anyone to throw around accusations. All we can do now is wait for clarity from Mr Ofgem and the Co in due course. Good luck to all
