("Plant Offshore" or the "Company")
Contract win
Plant Offshore is pleased to announce a contract win worth a fixed fee of
RM7,581,950 (circa GBP1.43m). The contract has been awarded by Oilfab Sdn Bhd,
one of six local fabricators licensed by Petronas, the national oil company of
Malaysia and is for the technical management, engineering and procurement work
on a topsides and offshore hook-up and commissioning wellhead platform project.
The contract has commenced and is expected to conclude by July 2010.
This takes the total value of new contract wins since the start of this
financial year to RM11,541,950 (circa GBP2.18m).
Hang Chin Juan, CEO, commented: "We are delighted to have won this sizeable and
competitive contract which illustrates the strong demand for our EPCM services.
In addition to the other new business that we have won since the beginning of
the year, the Company remains confident that it can maximise its significant
experience and technical knowledge to secure further contracts in the near
future."
