05/6/2012 13:56 | Thanks Norman, will keep drip-feeding the buys here. | royaloak
04/6/2012 21:50 | Wow! What can I say? Bring it on! | norman115
28/5/2012 23:11 | Time to catch up with some of the action with AOI and SMB in Canada perhaps? | royaloak
17/5/2012 15:24 | I decided not to buy any shares in the SPP for the same obvious reasons as you. A positive result from Mbawa drilling will work wonders for the share price. | norman115
16/5/2012 22:56 | As the price dropped to around 16 cents I did not buy any at 17.5 cents for obvious reasons! However it was fully underwritten so PCL have raised A$50 Million, and with the price now around 15 cents it is obviously better value, will wait and watch for a time to see if there is any improvement in the markets. | royaloak
10/5/2012 12:26 | I have just discovered this thread. I have been in PCL since 2008. There is huge potential here with Mbawa drilling to kick off some time in July according to a recent conference call given by Apache. Having Tullow as a partner in L8 is a vote of confidence. Good luck to all holders. | norman115
30/4/2012 23:46 | Received offer to subscribe for rights today at 17.5 cents, deadline 8th May. | royaloak
29/4/2012 23:44 | I use TDW for overseas stocks, excellent service. | royaloak
29/4/2012 11:22 | cant buy these at Hargreaves Lansdowne | itsonlyme2
25/4/2012 00:31 | If Tullow are confident about Mbawa, its definately worth a punt. Potentially 5bln bbls OIP aswell as other prospects on the block. Not to mention their other blocks where they are partnered by BG, Premier Oil and COV. Some experienced partners who know what they are going after in East-Africa. Then you have Namibian offshore block. That is a story in itself. Wonder who they will farmout to eventually. SQZ have BP as farmin partner. Cash | cashandcard
24/4/2012 16:29 | Nice one highcommissioner, thanks. Currently building up a position in my ISA, financing at the moment at 17.5 cents. | royaloak
24/4/2012 15:04 | For those new to this, star attraction in the portfolio here is a 15% WI in block L8 - partnered by Apache, Tullow and Origin Energy. They have a few exciting leads there. However, almost directly beneath a cluster of surface oilseeps, they have mapped a large oil prospect with volumes estimated to be in the order of 5bln bbls OIP for this prospect. Apache is looking to drill this later on in the year. The other licenses to the south are bordering Shell Licenses in northern Tanzania. The company has prospects for both significant oil and gas accumulations. Cash | cashandcard
24/4/2012 14:57 | Thankyou for opening this thread. If their is further success by Tullow/AOI in Kenya, there will be significant interest in smallcaps like this and Simba energy. Cash | cashandcard
23/4/2012 17:33 | Interesting little company PCL (ASX). Has projects in Kenya, Namibia and Australia. Is in partnership with some heavy hitters in Kenya. Namely, BG, Tullow, Apache and Premier. L8 drilling projected to commence Q3 2012 - Apache is the operator of this drill. For further info see the website. | highcommissioner
23/4/2012 06:47 | Pancontinental Oil & Gas NL is a petroleum (oil and gas / hydrocarbon) exploration company with key assets in Australia, Kenya and Namibia. Pancontinental is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) under code PCL. Pancontinental has high-percentage interests in a range of very large oil and gas targets in Australia and Africa. High levels of project equity, plus Pancontinental's modest market capitalisation means that with drilling success the company is very highly leveraged into potentially world-class hydrocarbon reserves. Pancontinental continues to actively add to its portfolio of high-quality high- reward exploration assets | highcommissioner
21/7/2011 08:01 | In the end he gave them a token £17K for everything left. Shareholders got zip. | envirovision
08/4/2011 12:40 | Pinnacle comment by GCI | rumithepoet
25/3/2011 15:54 | Upon his resignation does he also receive the most useless COO award of the decade ? | envirovision
24/9/2010 09:03 | The results did not affect the share price so they must be close to what most people expected. What did you estimate? | purav
14/9/2010 16:57 | Its a very strange one. I was hoping a bid would surface for the company but it would appear a price couldnt be agreed that suited PCL. Agreed there is a £8m t/o business left but their entire strategy going forward hinges on acquisitions - at the current share price they would be diluted to hell. Schroders/Andy Brough has a big stake (20% odd)....perhaps he can bang some heads together here | trackerjack |
