CHANGE OF ROLE OF DIRECTOR
In terms of section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited the Company makes the following announcement:
The Company announced earlier today that Mr. Ian Cockerill, the current executive Chairman of Petmin, will assume the role of non-executive Chairman with effect from the Company's annual general meeting ("AGM") to be convened later this year.
Although Mr. Cockerill will no longer be employed as an executive member of the Company following the conclusion of the AGM, the Board of Petmin is pleased to advise that Mr. Cockerill will remain on the Board, will be available on a consulting basis to Petmin, and will continue to be integral to the on-going strategy, development and growth of the Company.
This change in Mr Cockerill's designation is in line with the recommendations of the King III on Corporate Governance and will support Petmin in pursuing its global diversification and commodity focused expansion strategy.
