PGGO publishes first quarter 2009 report 
 
 
Partners Group Global Opportunities Limited ("PGGO") published its quarterly 
report as of 31 March 2009 today. Developments during the quarter include: 
 
 
  *  Amid difficult macroeconomic conditions, the net asset value (NAV) of PGGO 
  declined in line with expectations by 12.5% to EUR 6.78 per share 
  *  The major part of valuation declines was driven by public comparables and had an 
  adverse impact on the NAV of 13.8% during the reporting period 
  *  Selective portfolio divestments to decrease risk and reposition the portfolio 
  were pursued 
  *  The appreciation of the US dollar against the Euro had a positive effect on the 
  NAV of 1.3% 
  *  Overall, underlying operating performances are still relatively resilient in the 
  current market environment 
 
 
 
Dr. Stephan Schäli, Head Private Capital at Partners Group, the Investment 
Advisor of PGGO, comments: "As we expected, the NAV of PGGO declined during the 
first quarter of 2009, mainly due to re-assessments of the direct investments in 
the portfolio. Even though further valuation adjustments within the PGGO 
portfolio cannot be ruled out in this recessionary environment, the Investment 
Advisor expects PGGO to see rather moderate adjustments compared to the general 
private equity industry. PGGO's portfolio is well diversified by geographic 
region, industry sector and vintage year and the investments are managed by 
top-quartile lead investors, which are well equipped to adapt to the challenging 
economic environment and continue creating value within these businesses."
