Oriel Resources Plc ("Oriel", or the "Company"), the London-based chrome and
nickel mining and processing company, announces that on 20 March 2007 it
received a notification given pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985
("the Act") by Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership ("Lansdowne") on behalf of
client funds that it manages, that following the increase in the number of
shares of the Company in issue, it no longer has notifiable interest in the
Company. The number of shares held by Lansdowne is unchanged at 7,168,067
shares.
