29/6/2010 08:56 | A 30% markdown on piddling volume ! On past performance if they need to raise equity I expect it will be at around 15p and the share price will be marked up again on equally low volume. Also given that their sales are more than doubling year on year and as they don't have the muscle to manage it they remain an attractive takeover target. | camy
29/6/2010 08:36 | news must have leaked last night before the market shut. Disgraceful. | angus17
29/6/2010 07:53 | not a great update RNS but they have shown time after time that they have investors willing to prop them up and who believe the long term story i imagine even if financial investors do not step in, corporate strategic investors will if only to keep EMGS honest | robson1974
28/6/2010 17:14 | reading between the lines there may be something there at FOGL and BHP's Toroa however it is usually much safer to wait until the ACTUAL news and buy then e.g. after recent 'hits' you could buy RKH at 60-90p now 290p NPE at 80-140p now 170p COV at 26-30p now 50p etc | robson1974

21/6/2010 09:23 | Good news regarding CSEM - "More importantly, it is a sign that EM technology is entering the mainstream of exploration and production workflows." EMGS awarded largest ever marine 3D EM contract Jun 19, 2010 11:01 CEST Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a multi-year contract worth a minimum of USD 150 million by one of the world's largest oil companies. The 3D EM campaign will employ one of EMGS's purpose-built 3D EM vessels continuously throughout the duration of the contract period, providing substantially improved vessel utilisation levels. Formal finalisation of contract and contract signature is expected in approximately two weeks, with vessel mobilization towards the end of August. EMGS anticipates that the contract will generate 2010 revenues in the range of USD 20 - 25 million, and that the remaining contract value will be recognised in 2011 and 2012. Roar Bekker, EMGS chief executive officer, commented: "This award, by far the largest ever within marine EM, is a giant step forward for EMGS. A long-term project such as this provides us with a solid platform for future growth and allows us to manage our vessel utilisation far more efficiently. "EMGS has previously provided services for this customer, and this significant award is a major statement of confidence in our advanced 3D products and high-capacity vessels. We are confident that our 3D EM data will continue to reduce this customer's exploration risk and finding costs, and we look forward to building on this relationship over the period of the project." | mr macgregor

10/6/2010 07:23 | 10th June 2010 Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc ("OHM") Award of North Sea WISE contract including CSEM acquisition; value in excess of US$ 1 million Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc (AIM:OHM), is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a CSEM contract, worth in excess of $1 million, in the North Sea, by an existing client, Bridge Energy UK Ltd (formerly Silverstone Energy). The project, under OHM's WISE (Well Integration with Seismic and Electromagnetics) product includes providing the client with a fully integrated dataset, comprising seismic, CSEM and well information. The OHM Express, a state-of-the-art vessel for conducting safe and reliable CSEM operations, will acquire the CSEM survey and is expected to commence this project in late summer. This project is the second to be awarded to OHM by Bridge Energy UK, and follows on from a previous successful North Sea CSEM acquisition and interpretation survey conducted for Silverstone in 2007. Richard Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping commented: "CSEM works best when tightly integrated within a framework constrained by seismic and well data. Our WISE methodology combines advanced seismic and well processing with CSEM surveying and interpretation to provide a reliable and robust appraisal tool. " | robson1974
