|liquid millionaire: OAH
Same people here at OAH as were behind LDP....MKT CAP only 100K pre-new money raised [£1M]
At 0.1 [1/10th of a penny!] OAH offers a multi bagger....my share price target is a return to pre suspension price of 1.25p
So a 12.5X BAGGER at OAH|
|grahamcm: "The company registrar and/or the stock exchange should hold a publicly accessible register of shareholders. However the names of shareholders who hold their shares in a broker/registrar nominee account will not be available as they are held sort of at arm's length."
This chap after the shares is certainly keen. First there was a phone call and the promise of an email. The next day the email arrived and later on the same day another phone call to follow up. I also think my friend is tempted to sell, so we may find out if its a scam...or not!
Have to say the form is an acceptance of the terms to handover the shares within the next 6 months, the share certificate itself is not being asked for (just the details of quantity of shares held) and no money has been finalised. Maybe the price range suggested was to allow for possible price movement if the deal is not immediate? Maybe they wait till all deals are finalised (presume they contact all people who hold their own certificates) then make all the transactions at the same time, whence also the six month time scale?
I remember a few years back when I was active in sharedealing (these are my only share holding now - only because Ive given up on them, I prefer spreadbetting as you dont have to wait for an upturn in the market. Very useful in these uncertain times!). Anyway, I stumbled upon a company whos name escapes me, but it reminded me of Anglo welsh. The share price had dropped to a penny, and some of the discussion board members had been sitting on these shares for upto several years. This is absolutley no kidding, but I found this company, chatted to a few people and few days later (if even that) I returned to it and I could not beleive my eyes. The price was up at 80p after hitting £1. It had virtually overnight been the subject of a takeover since my first visit days previous - no warning signs, no build up, just bang - were off.|
|gbb483: Well that latest appointment appears to have been a dis-appointment with the share price staying static.|
|timely3: Imo the next set of results will be very bad indeed given they said they need to invest if any of them are to make any of their current activities profitable. It will though be a good opportunity for them to bury all the bad news ie loss of goodwill etc.
The key issue will be about what they say regarding the 'outlook'. Has that third party they mentioned in their last trading update decided to invest in the current business or not, or have they found a new business for a change in direction. If there is no news on either, and they are just drifting, I will be disheartened and the share price will I guess drift even lower. But I will keep living in hope rather than expectation!|
|timely4: I hope your faith is justified. I hold quite a few of these and keep hoping for some good news, but I do fear a massive dilution from a new investor buying into the company. I would much prefer a new start which imo would also be better for the share price.|
|the_beagle: gbb Please do it. Even the market cap above is incorrect. Had a good look at this and any one of the options mentioned a few weeks ago will be good for the share price. A reverse takeover is my favourite.|
|gbb483: I guess with the demise of Yes! and the collapse of the share price we'll have to resurrect this thread. Oak haven't bothered to update their company web site - a bad sign as it warns off customers, though they've cancelled the web site dedicated to the old project ("the man Rotherham, he say 'No!'", with apologies to Delmonti).|
|gbb483: OAH price is going up - must be a mistake.|
|gbb483: Last year's interim statement came out about this time and caused the share price to double.
I wonder what snippets we're going to be tempted with this year.|
|gbb483: The Board of Oak Holdings PLC announces that Michael Hill has resigned as a
director with immediate effect.
It always worries me when they say 'with immediate effect'. It implies a sudden exposure of new information, did he jump or was he pushed, and either way, why?
The Board also announces that Mike Williams, Founder Director of CDC, will
oversee the financial function of the group with immediate effect
Googling Mike Williams and CDC yields "CDC, the intelligent buildings experts", "Mike Williams, Managing Director and Founder of CDC, the Intelligent Buildings people, has been named as one of RealComm's 'Top 35 People to Watch in 2008'." Hmmm, this is 2009.
It looks like CDC were invited awhile ago (2nd May) ( http://tinyurl.com/m6nkwv ) - shame Oak didn't see fit to put out an RNS.
Either way, it hasn't stirred the share price - though it could have been people in the know pushing the price up late April - once again the simple individual investor is treated like a mushroom.|
