Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing of:


5,367,694 1X Euro Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value, issued
as 1X Euro Shares)



1,481,739 1X Sterling Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value,
issued as 1X Sterling Shares)



13,879,454 1X US$ Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value, issued
as 1X US$ Shares)



903,252 3X Euro Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value, issued as
3X Euro Shares)



836,465 3X Sterling Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value, issued
as 3X Sterling Shares)



3,107,528 3X US$ Shares (Redeemable preference shares of no par value, issued as
3X US$ Shares)

Subject to the application being approved, the Company may, through its broker,
UBS, issue any or all of these shares for cash from time to time provided that
no such issue will be made at prices below the then prevailing net asset value
