20/11/2007 13:01 | ousourcer - yep, whoever you sent the message to hasn't read or emptied their inbox for ages. Perhaps he's now using a different email [hope]. regards | targatarga
20/11/2007 12:50 | I tried to email Tony G-P and I got the email returned with the message : I was unable to deliver to because the user is over their quota. Anybody any idea what that means ? | outsourcer
20/11/2007 08:47 | Yes, very actually, might do some digging today. Seems a very bad way to treat investors. Unless of course you dont really care about them. | rampant_rabbit
20/11/2007 08:29 | is no-one else worried by the lack of news from the Company | outsourcer
15/11/2007 16:51 | 7 weeks tomorrow since suspension, I could probably have completed 2 years accounts in that time | outsourcer
09/11/2007 16:58 | 6 weeks today since suspension of shares, this is getting silly now, I could prepare and audit a set of accounts from fresh in that time scale for a company this size. I hope this delay isnt covering something more sinister. | outsourcer
08/11/2007 13:22 | its nearly 6 months since the acquisition was announced and not a word since, how long does it take to complete a deal for an AIM listed company of this size, surely 6 months is a bit long winded. after having my money tied up for so long it had better be good ! | outsourcer
06/11/2007 08:38 | I sent an email to Tony Gadsby Peet yesterday to see if he could give any clues about how things stood - guess what, no response yet ! UPDATE I - I got a read receipt for 9.20am this morning, so he must have been out of the office UPDATE II - I got an email from Tony Gadsby Peet saying he cannot say anything because of AIM rules, at least he replied so fair play to the man. | outsourcer
01/11/2007 08:53 | the 1st of November, I wonder if this month will bring any news | outsourcer
30/10/2007 14:09 | I guess it won't be easy to finalise these without a Financial Director!! I assume the proposed acquisition is still going ahead as we've heard nothing to the contrary and they would have to advise if that was the case, although filing accounts on time is a requirement under AIM rules and they haven't adhered to that! Perhaps November will provide the fireworks we want to see!! Sorry about that one! | nige3
29/10/2007 10:01 | looks like October is going to pass by, they must be seriously behind if they cannot finalise ther accounts within a month | outsourcer
26/10/2007 08:37 | another week and still no news | outsourcer
22/10/2007 08:47 | when are we going to get some news, it 3 weeks into October and still nothing on the accounts or an update on the acquisition - not the best investor relations ! | outsourcer
10/10/2007 12:34 | into the second week of October and still no news of the accounts being ready | outsourcer
04/10/2007 10:15 | Just called that number and Philip Reid is "around" but not at his desk-a company called Orange Corporate Finance!!! Maybe he's arranging a loan for Newmarket!! | nige3
04/10/2007 00:07 | Well, I guess that means that something is about to happen. They must be aware of the unease that both the suspension and now the resignation will cause. The real question as always is it going to be a positive restructure/merger/A | rampant_rabbit
03/10/2007 17:04 | Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this a new number for Mr Reid? It's normally a mobile that never gets answered!!! Philip Reid Tel: 020 7312 6506 Newmarket Investments plc This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END BOAZXLFBDBBXFBL | nige3
03/10/2007 16:39 | Guess that's what happens if you don't get your accounts in on time!!! | nige3
03/10/2007 15:47 | especially when he was the part time finance director ! unless they now need a full time finance director becuase of the magnitude of the deal | outsourcer
03/10/2007 15:44 | Ouch that doesnt sound good! | rampant_rabbit
03/10/2007 15:37 | Interesting that Shane Moloney has just resigned!!! | nige3
03/10/2007 15:12 | this has taken 16 weeks so far without a whisper, considering the size of NWN it seems rather a long time to finalise an acquisition, I would have thought they would be looking at a company their own size which I cant see taking this long to do due diligence work, sort out financing etc. unless of course the acquistion is on much grander scale. that said I hope you are right, I have had my money tied up in here for a long time with no reward so far ! | outsourcer
03/10/2007 14:49 | I think you could be right! | rampant_rabbit
03/10/2007 14:33 | I am surprised they missed this date in view of the fact that they are in "talks" but maybe they're using this time to actually get their acquisition finalised. As they have no dosh the only way I can see that they can acquire anything is by doing a fundraising which will require issuing more shares which will need shareholder approval. In terms of timings, if they announced their results early next week and set a date for the AGM at end of month, assuming they get shareholder agreement I guess they would commence their fundraising early Nov and formalise any acquisition soon after that. So I reckon we're looking at 4-6 weeks before we will see any action on the share price That's my theory!! What do you guys think? | nige3
28/9/2007 09:45 | or hopefully, the deal is such a big one that they took their eye off the mundane daily accounting stuff !!!! | outsourcer |
