Posted at 11/1/2011 16:45 by outsourcer my first visit back to this BB since Oct and just seen the post 768, nothing else has been reported and nothing relayed to shareholders of NWN, so still sat holding my 1M shares and nursing a £15K loss !!! |
Posted at 13/3/2010 22:35 by distortion Still no news in here? Really disappointed to get caught in this one last year and struggling to get any up to date information.Recently found a new site with some really good research information. www.share-exchange.c |
Posted at 10/12/2009 12:05 by rampant_rabbit All he said (a lot) was he couldnt really say anything at the moment. But he did take my call which I guess is a start! They are apparently going to write to share holders. my investment is high here I was in at well over £50K.... |
Posted at 08/9/2009 09:16 by outsourcer only another 1.25p (or 420%) and I am breaking even, come NWN you can do it !!!! |
Posted at 03/9/2009 16:50 by outsourcer pre, you must be joking, the last time they enhanced shareholder value in early 2008, they did a rights issue to buy IRB and the property, the share price then was 3p, we now stand 0.2p a drop of over 90%, so I would say they aren't really any good at adding shareholder value but pretty hot at decimating it.I have lost nearly £15K (my own fault for trying to average down my original purchase price of 7p and taking part in the rights issue) on this share and have emailed them to explain how they are enhancing shareholder value and they haven't even had the decency to respond. |
Posted at 22/6/2009 08:14 by outsourcer and down we go againI have emailed Newmarket Investments, to ask them to explain how they think the purchase of the property and IRB last year have been good for shareholders considering the share price is now over 90% lower before the acquisitions. |
Posted at 19/6/2009 09:02 by outsourcer call me cynical but looking at the RNS yesterday about the part disposal of the property, I am guessing that it didnt pan out as expected and they ended up with a white elephant that they are having trouble getting rid of.and even more annoying about the RNS is that despite the plummenting share price all they come out with in the update is that things are expected and they are managing cashflows, hardly allaying any fears of investors ! |
Posted at 12/6/2009 10:59 by outsourcer Mike_F, how did you pick up on NBR ?Pelleeds, its a punt, the share price has fallen steadily over the last month, they did a right issue last year to raise funds, which they bought a property with and another Company, but the shareholder value has just fallen since, the annoying thing is that when they announced the takeover, it was supposed to add shareholder value, the shares were trading around 3p at that time, so its hardly worked really ! |
Posted at 10/6/2009 15:44 by mike_f Newmarket Investments plc (the "Company") was informed today that, on 3 April2009, Tony Gadsby Peet, a director of the Company, transferred 7,000,000 ordinary shares held by him to his SIPP at a price of 0.5p. Following this transaction, Mr Gadsby Peets' beneficial interest in the Company remains unchanged at 7,019,200 ordinary shares, representing approximately 2.9 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. That's double what we are paying... could be a good punt. |
Posted at 19/5/2009 12:21 by outsourcer I bought another 350K last week and the share price doesnt move (dont ask why I bought, I am wondering why myself) yet a trade today of around 150k drops the price, when will they pull the plug ? |
