About 3% of the shares changed hands since yesterday afternoon. Gone a long way to clear the overhang. No news from the company. Could this be interpreted as something really is going on?

Many of these approach rumours amount to nothing but it's very dangerous to sell out of stock like this in the hope of getting in cheaper later. Neteller doesn't just have £25m in net cash. It also has a building in Calgary that will soon be sold for a further £20m. So in effect at £85m market cap you are only paying £40m for the actual business. And that business, as we found out on Tuesday, is firing on all cylenders and is generating cash.

To build a business like Neteller would cost substantially more than £45m. I would not be surprised if this business went for an enterprise value of £100m meaning and equity value of £145m or 120p per share.

Better though that they don't get taken over at all in 2008.
