Larger companies in the medical imaging space will be looking to buy Medicsight now it has FDA approval.

What will they pay? It's only one of two companies with FDA approval and the only pure play on virtual colonoscopy.

I'd also express a bit of caution. While FDA approval is great, you have to ask why Q1 sales of ColonCad in the EU/Canada/Australia were down 30%.

Sales could quadruple for this appliance or get taken out, certainly.
( I noted sales were a bit down but FSA approval opens a vast market, and it then becomes an easy matter to get into Jap /China etc.

Just a word of warning these have been kicking around for donkeys years - going back to the Radical Technology days on OFEX. They have never failed to disappoint for lose a shed load of cash each year. Another false dawn I would suspect but could be fun for a short term trade.

As usual the market here is till trying to figure out this company and the city boys, not being well versed in matters technical, are slow to cotton on. This is now a company with an open door into the American market with a unique, needed product with no peer. Yanks value high tech/medicalcompanies with huge growth potential in the hundreds, not tens of millions of dollars and they, not our City slowcoaches will I reckon be first to spot the opportunity. imo
