RNS Number:2065Z Medal Entertainment & Media PLC 28 June 2007 28 June 2007 Medal Entertainment & Media plc ("MEM" or the "Company") APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR Medal Entertainment & Media plc (AIM: MME), is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Andrew Dickson as Chief Operating Officer. Andrew is currently the Managing Director of DD Home Entertainment (DDHE), the Company's direct marketing subsidiary. As Chief Operating Officer of MEM, Andrew will be responsible for the day to day running of the group's activities. Prior to joining DDHE in May 2007, Andrew was the Finance Director and latterly CEO of Deal Group Media plc, the AIM listed online media-marketing group, and during his tenure was responsible for dealing with the IT issues affecting the company, returning the company to profitability in the final quarter of 2006. Andrew was previously Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Ministry of Sound group of companies, which he joined as group chief accountant in 2000. Andrew Dickson started his career as a trainee accountant at Coopers & Lybrand in 1995. In 1999 he moved to become a financial controller at PA Consulting. Commenting on the appointment, Steve Ayres, CEO of MEM, said "I am delighted that Andrew had joined us and I believe his experience will be important to us during this period of restructure and his knowledge of online marketing will open up new markets to the group."
