|derekhess: If we can just get the share price to £5 per share before de-listing, we can hold a rights issue at £3 per new share and pay off the company's debt.
Today makes no sense, people are buying Barclays like mad but this drops....???? If Barc have made £11.6bln in profits why don't they just give us some of the money to pay our debts?? - think about it, makes a lot of sense, if Varley is reading this take note.|
|derekhess: £1 share price for Jan 1st 2011 after re-floating on AIM.|

|bottompicker: 40% spread so to make any money you have to get an 80% rise in the share price to break even. Thats why shares are such a con, now the price is down to rock bottom, the only people that can really buy it are the market makers.|
|nickcduk: Instead of going for duff plays like OTE which have generate hardly any free cashflow why don't you have a look at MERE instead for a recovery play. Last reported NAV was 466p a share. Its profitable but is close to its LTV ratio. Current share price is 35p. Results due out later in the week if you are looking for an outer. No comparison between the 2 imho.|
|aalli: Any realistic views on the share price for Monday....

|andrbea: slump in its share price forced London Town, the managed and tenanted pub operator, to admit it is considering a debt for equity swap with its three major shareholders at or around 5 pence per share.
The group made the announcement as its shares crashed in value by 67 per cent, from more than 12p a share to a little over four pence a share, following recent sharp falls. A year ago the group's shares were trading at 137p each.
In a statement to the Stock Exchange the group said: "In light of the recent share price movement the company announces that it is considering a number of strategic options with regard to the net liability position shown by its recently published balance sheet."
These included the aforementioned debt for equity swap. The group said it would reveal its decision "in due course".
London Town, which undertook a reverse takeover of rival managed pub operator GRS Inns last year, runs more than 310 pubs, more than a third of which are located in the North East and West Midlands.
Its results for the year to December 28, 2008, saw turnover in its leased estate fall 12 per cent to £10.1m, with leased pub gross profits down nine per cent at £6.3m.
It revealed an overall loss before tax of £24.9m, versus a deficit in the previous year of £11.6m.
|topinfo: I keep thinking about taking a punt on this but the mkt dont strip 75% of a share price on no news. My guess here is administrators being called in and that why managers/directors on holiday as they cant afford to pay them anymore. I mean which co sends all its staff away at the same time and leaves the bimbo secretary to carry the can when the share price tanks 75%?|
|nikesh2: This stock rises when ever people buy 200 pounds worth of shares
anyone wondering why the share price is rising rapidly!
Whilst in London today i saw some buildings that had been designed by London Town.
These apartments are flash and they were neally finished so i beleive this is the reason for the large rise in the share price.
I bought small amounts from 14p when the shares went up 40% on no volume.
im accumualting next week and betting the price will top 34p within next two weeks!
good luk to all the other shareholders at last we will make dosh on this stock|
