Why I don't buy Chinese stocks on AIM

Greg Rudd, the brother of the former Australian prime minister, once met a Chinese businessman who gave him some prudent advice.

"You tend to see the good in people, Mr Rudd", he started. "People like you. You laugh a lot. But you'll never make money in China with that attitude. You'll only be taken advantage of. People will trade off you. They won't pay you. The number one rule of doing business in China is this; never trust a Chinaman. Why would you as a foreigner trust a Chinese businessman when we as Chinese don't trust each other?"

Now that advice is pretty close to the bone. But I've said it before in Penny Sleuth – you have to be very careful when you invest in a Chinese company. The record of AIM-listed Chinese companies is simply awful. And with so many still coming to market, there is a real chance that many private investors will end up making some very expensive mistakes...

consolidation takes affect or around 27 February 2014, so for each 100 shares you own today at 0.0036p you will have 1 share at 36p.

50SMA about to cross 200SMA = Golden Cross.. :)

On a stock chart, the golden cross occurs when the 50-day MA rises sharply and crosses over the 200-day MA. Usually, a golden cross is associated with sharp upward price movement and can be used as a buy signal in the belief that a significant uptrend will follow.

Should test 0.5p+ again. Placing at 0.79p, and over £3 million in cash from placing. Not bad eh to raise that much money at a 265% premium when your mkt cap is just £1.5 million. Someone must be confident eh

Large spread prevents pump and dump....

I doubt there are many people on here who get lured into stocks by topinfo and his ilk. Why should anyone think a stock is going to 5p just because he says so? Does he show good knowledge of the company? Great insight into the state of the market? I'm sure he'd be the first to admit he's an enthusiastic amateur on any particular stock who likes to trade short term for quick and easy profits. But while his actions can affect the market - buying up all available stock, watching as others get sucked in by the ensuing price mark-up and selling out for a turn, I doubt that his actions on this board or any other contribute much to the profits he gets.

Check the trades for the topinfo pump and dump watch and you see 3 x 250k buys very similar to MDZ where he did 3 x 250k there then said they were going over
1p then posted none stop about the coke deal but dumped for 0.33p then even went
and deramped it and even his loyal mug followers did not like that as I got a private message from one of them, one account has 2 of the buys so you should
see a 500k and a 250k sold at the same time seconds apart if the mm's will take them tomorrow morning.

££££££££££££££££££££ to be made here as it will rise like all their other de-ramps. They only post when they are worried about a big rise and clearly their appearance shows whats going to happen next.

I don't think anyone trusts lying pump and dump conmen anymore so he won't have much luck.
